Picasso Museum MalagaIt was renovated from a 16th-century palace, retaining its Renaissance style. The museum houses a total of 233 works by Picasso, including oil paintings, sketches, sculptures, and more. The collection was donated by Picasso's daughter-in-law Christine, his grandson Bernard, and other family members. It encompasses over two hundred pieces, including oil paintings, sketches, sculptures, prints, and ceramics, spanning from his academic studies in his youth and cubist collages to his late works in the 1970s, effectively laying out a corridor of the evolution of Picasso's style. "Paul in a white hat" is based on a photograph of his eldest son Paul in the park, capturing the child's innocence with remarkable vividness; "Mother and child" and the series of portraits featuring Jacqueline and others are also worth a close look.Malaga · 258m from downtown

Ronda Bullring is an ancient bullring in Spain and a place of pilgrimage for bullfighters. It is in this bullring that the modern bullfighting method in Spain was born. This circular building can accommodate 5,000 spectators and is juxtaposed with 136 thick Tuscan-style stone columns, which is deeply historically heavy. The famous bullfighters in the history of Spanish bullfighting, such as PedroRomero, Antonio Ordonez, etc., have all fought with bulls here. In the past, bullfighting was the exclusive activity of the nobles, and the nobles who participated in the activities rode horses to fight the bulls. Until a nobleman was not skilled and was rammed by the bull, he turned his head on his back. At the moment when his life was dying, a commoner rushed into the field and waved his hat to lead the bull away. His move not only relieved the nobles, but also helped the nobles. It opened a new era of bullfighters dismounting and fighting bulls for the Ronda Bullring. In the museum attached to the bullring, people can also see artifacts such as the bullfighting clothes worn by the famous bullfighter Antonio Ordonez, who was admired by Hemingway. In order to maintain this "heritage", bullfights are held here only on special festivals, but tourists can buy tickets to visit.Ronda · 718m from downtown

Costa del Sol is a stretch of resort coastline along the Mediterranean in Malaga Province, extending from Nerja in the east to the Manilva area in the west, spanning over 100 km. The coast gets its name from its climate, which is sunny most days of the year. Vacations here can be very slow-paced: take a walk along the seaside promenade or go for a swim during the day, and at noon, head into a beachside eatery to order a skewer of charcoal-grilled sardines—locals thread the sardines onto thin skewers and grill them over a wood fire. Many eateries even use old fishing boats filled with sand as grills right on the beach. Paired with an iced drink, this is a quintessential dining experience on this coast. In the evening, you can explore the old town of Marbella and wander through the white-walled alleys around the Plaza de los Naranjos. Golf is another highlight here, with a high density of courses along the coast.Mijas · 3.3 km from downtown

Longda New Bridge is the landmark building of Longda Town. One end of the bridge is connected to Longda Old Town, standing on the cliff, giving people a thrilling and magnificent feeling. The new bridge is paved with stone slabs, which have become as dark and shiny as black onyx blocks because of the baptism of the years. Standing on the bridge and looking around, all you can see are the beautiful Ronda Mountains. To feel the grandeur of the new bridge, you can walk down the steps from one side of the bridge into the canyon and admire the building from another angle. There is also a new bridge interactive media center in the canyon, where you can deepen your understanding of the new bridge through physical display and video materials.Ronda · 731m from downtown

El Tajo de Ronda is a natural wonder in the Andalusia region. The gorge was carved over the ages by the Guadalevín and is over 100m deep, dividing Ronda into two halves: the old town, which retains its Moorish charm, on one side and the newer city on the other. A well-known sight here is the Puente Nuevo. Centro de Interpretación, an 18th-century stone bridge that spans the gorge with its deck nearly 100m above the valley floor. The combination of the stone bridge and the deep gorge creates the classic image of this cliffside city. Visitors can look down into the gorge from the bridge to enjoy magnificent natural views and panoramic cityscapes. The viewing platforms below the bridge offer great photo opportunities, especially at sunset, when the interplay of light and shadow makes for enchanting scenery. Strolling along the trails on the edge of the gorge allows you to more deeply experience the power of nature and the weight of history.Ronda · 738m from downtown

The coastal city of Málaga is the second largest city in Andalusia and the hometown of Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. Favored by European and American holidaymakers for its serene blue skies and warm Mediterranean climate, Málaga is considered the gateway to the Costa del Sol. Once a vital gateway to the Mediterranean, Málaga boasts thousands of years of history. Founded by the Phoenicians and later ruled by the Romans and then the Islamic world, it truly is an ancient city. Though few historical sites remain in Málaga today, with many of its bustling districts replaced by modern skyscrapers, large ancient buildings like the Alcazaba still offer glimpses of the cultural legacy of the Islamic era. For example, the Renaissance-style Málaga Cathedral, built between 1528 and 1782, boasts a north tower reaching 84 meters, making it the second tallest cathedral in Andalusia.Malaga · 212m from downtown

Located in Malaga, The Alcazaba is an important military fortress from the Islamic period and serves as evidence of the long-standing Islamic presence here. Built in the mid-11th century, it extensively utilized columns and stone materials from the adjacent Roman theater during its construction, and was extensively rebuilt by the Nasrid dynasty in the 14th century. Today, it is one of the best-preserved Alcazabas in Spain. The entire fortress consists of nested inner and outer walls. To reach the palace area, one must pass through multiple gates and a deliberately winding uphill path; this "zigzag" entrance is the essence of its original defensive design. In theheart of this fortress, the southern wing of the 11th-century old palace retains horseshoe arches and carved arcades, while the Nasrid palace area is centered around the Courtyard of the Orange Trees and the Courtyard of the Reflecting Pool, where glazed floor tiles complement the fountains, capturing the full charm of Islamic-style courtyards.Malaga · 481m from downtown

Old Bridge of Ronda is the oldest of the three bridges spanning the city's gorge. Its origins are debated, with most theories suggesting it was first built during the Moorish period. The current single-arch stone bridge was rebuilt in the early 17th century after the original was destroyed by floods, predating the Puente Nuevo. Centro de Interpretación by over a century. The bridge is small, with a single stone arch spanning the Guadalevín. The deck is paved with stone and is for pedestrians only. Walking on it, undisturbed by traffic, feels more relaxed than the area around the new bridge. There are four small viewing platforms on the bridge railings that extend over the river, allowing you to look down at the gorge and the water below. At the southern end stands the 18th-century Arco de Felipe, and the viewing platform next to the gate offers a classic vantage point for overlooking the entire bridge.Ronda · 733m from downtown

If you are into arts this museum is for you. Many are original Picasso paintings. Not a big museum but it will take time to go around especially when reading about every piece. Although there was a set time to enter and we were late by 10 minutes there is actually a queue so you are really not missing anything! The museum is very close to a cathedral and it is literally the centre of the city. Not to be missed

Hemingway said that Ronda is the best place to elope. It is a city in the sky, built on a cliff. There are scenery everywhere you look. It also has the oldest bullring in Spain.

The Costa del Sol, located on the Mediterranean coast of Andalusia in southern Spain, is renowned for its abundant sunshine, long beaches, and vibrant resort atmosphere, making it one of Europe's most popular seaside resorts. With a coastline of approximately 150 kilometers, it enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate with over 300 sunny days a year. Its most unique feature is not only its beautiful and spectacular beaches but also its rolling hills. Visitors can lazily sunbathe, read, or surf on the beach, or simply walk across the main street and hike through the mountains filled with pine trees, broom, and rosemary. Furthermore, it boasts numerous historical sites and scenic spots!

Akasaba Castle is a highland in the old city of Malaga. It's free to go, climbing slowly along the mountain road, with mottled walls and pleasant scenery outside. Standing at a high altitude, overlooking Malaga's bullfight and coastline, it is refreshing. Continuing up, through the Islamic garden, we reached the interior of the castle and looked out from the castle window like a picture. The castle is generally reserved, the interior is no longer exquisite, but there are a lot of utensils used at that time can be visited. It's interesting that the castle is so intricate that it inadvertently loses its way in the room.

Join a guided tour of Spain and Portugal. This small group tour for 25 guests includes all-inclusive packages: five nights in a five-diamond hotel, direct flights from Air China, six special meals, and Wi-Fi. [The following appears unrelated and likely a separate topic:] Flamenco show, vintage carriage tour, high-speed AVE train, and admission to seven major attractions: Sagrada Familia, Alhambra, Park Güell, Royal Palace of Madrid, and Seville Cathedral. On the morning of Day 4, we'll depart from Granada for Ronda. Our guide will lead us to the Ronda New Bridge, then to the Ronda Terraced Gardens, one of the Ronda viewpoints, to see the Ronda Old Bridge. Ronda, a small city dating back to the Roman Empire and the birthplace of bullfighting, is located in the heart of Andalusia, Spain. Its scenic beauty and vibrant atmosphere earned Hemingway the nickname "the perfect place for elopement." Divided by the Tejas River, Ronda is the Old Town and the New Town. The Old Town, perched atop a cliff, offers a breathtaking view. Ronda boasts a mild climate and often sunny days. The best times to visit are between May and September. During the Romero Festival in early September, numerous bullfights are held, offering a glimpse into the locals' passion and bravery. Most of Ronda's attractions are concentrated in the old town, with notable ones including the world's oldest bullring and the 14th-century Islamic Palace, the residence of the Moorish king Apomelico.
