The Monroe Fortress is a fort located on the island of Manoel, built in the 18th century for military defense. Due to disrepair, the castle was rebuilt in 2009, and the entire building was almost completely renovated. Fort Monroe is also one of the filming locations for Game of Thrones.

Spinola Bay

Spinola Bay is a natural harbor with clear waters and a magnificent coastline. Strolling around the bay, you can admire charming fishing boats and yachts, and feel the tranquil marine atmosphere. Spinola Bay is also a popular place for entertainment and water activities. You can rent a small boat or kayak to explore the bay's coastline and small islands. There are also some diving centers near the bay that offer diving and snorkeling activities, allowing you to get up close to the rich marine life.

St Paul’s Catacombs

The Catacombs of St. Paul, a necropolis dating from the Punic, Roman, and Byzantine periods, owe their connection to St. Paul to a myth that the catacombs were once connected to the Grotto of St. Paul. While this remains a myth, recent research suggests that the two catacombs were originally part of a larger necropolis outside the ancient city of Melite. In fact, it is now known that the catacombs are located within a necropolis with a long history, dating back to at least the 3rd or 4th century BC. These catacombs form a typical interconnected Roman necropolis, used until the 7th and possibly even the 8th century AD. They are located in the area of Halbajada, also known as Tad-d'Aram. There are over 30 catacombs in the area, the main one being within the Cathedral of St. Paul. This complex consists of a system of interconnected passages and crypts covering an area of over 2,000 square meters.
