The North Africa Fortress is a historic fortification that was built in the 10th century. As an important military site on the Mediterranean coast, the fortress has played a key role in history. Its solid stone walls and strategic location provide visitors with the opportunity to explore medieval military architecture. The fortress has a unique architectural style that combines Arab and Mediterranean elements. Visitors can stroll along the ancient city walls and overlook the panoramic views of Mahdia and the blue coastline. The narrow passages and watchtowers in the fortress make people feel like they are in history, and it is an ideal place for photography enthusiasts. When visiting the North Africa Fortress, it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes as it is necessary to climb on foot. There are some small cafes and restaurants near the fortress, serving local specialties, which visitors can enjoy after the tour. In terms of transportation, the city of Mahdia is accessible by public transportation, or you can choose to drive a car.Hammamet · 12.8 km from Nabeul

Archaeological Site of Carthageis located on the shores of the Gulf of Tunis, northeast of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. Nestled between the hills and the sea, it is one of the representative ancient civilization sites in the Mediterranean region. This ancient city was founded by the Phoenicians in the 9th century BC. With its superior geographical location, prosperous maritime trade, and powerful fleet, it gradually developed into an important city-state that dominated the western Mediterranean. The site is spread over a wide area, and you will need to walk or use transportation to get between attractions. From the remaining columns of the seaside baths to the ancient sacrificial steles, and from the hilltop museum to the once-busy harbor, every ruin carries the memory of Mediterranean civilization. By visiting here, travelers can not only enjoy the magnificent coastal scenery but also gain a deeper understanding of North Africa's important status in the ancient Mediterranean world.Carthage · 57.1 km from Nabeul

The Tunisian North Africa Fortress is also a huge military facility. This place does not have many natural barriers and can only rely on artificially built areas for defense. It also played a great military value during World War II. There are many military facility ruins to visit at this location.

Hammamet Beach is suitable for sightseeing. The sea water is great, the beach is great, and the scenery is nice! If you drive, there is a parking lot nearby, which is a humanized design! A good choice for sunbathing!

#Drivers drive around Tunisia, North Africa The ruins of Carthage, once a Mediterranean empire, are now only a remnant of its former glory. However, as a century-old power of workers, its prosperity can still be discerned from the architectural ruins.
