Discover Stedelijk Museum – Amsterdam's Hub for Modern and Contemporary Art The Stedelijk Museum is one of Amsterdam's top destinations for modern and contemporary art, with a special focus on paintings from the latter half of the 20th century. Art lovers won't want to miss this vibrant collection that reflects the evolution of art movements through time, while also offering opportunities to step outside the bubble and engage with fresh, thought-provoking perspectives. Historical Highlights Located on Museumplein—right between the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum—the Stedelijk Museum was founded in 1895 and originally designed by architect Adriaan Willem Weissman. The museum's “new wing” was added in 1954, and after a period of renovation and relocation, it reopened in 2012 in a stunning, modernized building. What to See Inside, you'll find both permanent and temporary exhibitions. The permanent collection features major movements such as Mannerism, Cobra, Neorealism, Pop Art, Color Field Painting, Zero, and Minimalism. Famous artists on display include Picasso, Piet Mondrian, Karel Appel, Henri Matisse, Chagall, and Kazimir Malevich. Alongside these classics, the museum also showcases the next generation of artists, offering fresh, provocative works that challenge and inspire visitors. For a deeper experience, audio guides are available (for a fee) in multiple languages, including English, offering detailed explanations about the artworks. Whether you're a dedicated art fan or just curious, the Stedelijk Museum provides an inspiring and unforgettable cultural experience in the heart of Amsterdam—one that invites you to explore beyond the familiar and discover new ways of seeing the world.Netherlands · Amsterdam

European porcelain first appeared in the 13th century. In the 16th century, Marco Polo shipped a large amount of ceramics from China to Lisbon, Portugal. Porcelain products soon became popular in Europe. Porcelain factories began to appear in cities and towns in some countries. The Royal Delft Blue Pottery Factory was established on the basis of the enthusiasm of European porcelain. The Royal Delft Blue Pottery Factory was founded in 1653. Its original name was just the Delft Blue Pottery Factory. At the beginning, most of its products were blue made of local Delft clay. ceramic tile. At that time, ceramic production was not enough in Europe. In addition to blue tiles, the Delft Blue Pottery Factory also imitated porcelain from China and made many porcelain with European elements. The factory's ceramic products quickly swept Europe. . So some Europeans have always thought that porcelain originated in the Netherlands. The Delft Blue Pottery Factory has long produced custom tableware for the Dutch royal family. In 1919, it was authorized to be named "Royal" in the company name, and its status was officially confirmed by the Dutch government and officials. The Royal Delft Blue Pottery Factory also has a museum. In addition to watching the production process of ceramics, you can also go to the museum to browse the development history of European porcelain over hundreds of years. The Utrecht Museum of Musical Clocks, located in the historic city of Utrecht, the Netherlands, is a unique museum dedicated to automatic musical instruments. The museum is located in a unique building. Its predecessor was the Monastery of St. Catherine, which was built in 1466. The simple and heavy sense of history complements the collection of musical instruments in the museum. The museum has a collection of more than 350 automatic musical instruments, including precious musical instruments such as music boxes, pipe organs, and street organs from the 18th century to the present. These instruments are not only exquisite crafts, but also carry rich musical history and cultural connotations. For example, the giant pipe organ in the museum has a complex and exquisite mechanical structure. When it plays, the grand music echoes in the ancient building, as if it can bring the audience back to the past. In the museum, visitors can not only appreciate these exquisite musical instruments up close, but also feel the unique charm of automatic musical instrument performance through on-site demonstrations and interactive experiences. The museum will regularly hold concerts, lectures and other activities, inviting professionals to interpret the stories behind the instruments, so that the audience can have a deeper understanding of the development of automatic musical instruments.Netherlands · Utrecht

The prototype of Howl's Moving Castle is still very large. Because it is a castle that has been used all the time, it is still very modern and luxurious. There are explanation boards to use. There are actually live NPCs in each room. If you are interested enough, you can go up and chat to learn about the story of this castle.

The correct way to write the meeting point is: Worringer Strasse 109/140, across from the Flix bus stop (turn right after exiting Düsseldorf Central Station, about 5-6 minutes away). The 10% discount coupon is only valid for select boutiques; it's not valid for other stores. The back of the store lists the stores where it's valid. The outlet's WiFi is not very reliable, so I recommend buying the European eSIM. The eSIM I bought on Trip.com doesn't cover the Netherlands. Starbucks vouchers must be redeemed by scanning a QR code at the service center. The staff were very nice. The outlet uses the Global Blue tax refund system. It's recommended to register first so you don't have to fill out information on your receipt after purchase. The staff at the service center can help you register for your tax refund using the Global Blue self-service kiosk. After that, get your items stamped by customs and mail them through the yellow mailbox at the airport. You can't go to the airport tax refund counter for cash refunds. Overall, it's a good place, although I didn't buy much. If you don't mind the price of heavy-duty hot pots compared to Taiwan, the American brands, with the exception of Nike and Adidas, are relatively small. WMF has a round device shaped like an eggshell. Don't press it with your fingers, as it will hurt you. There is an exclamation point sticker on it.

It's a relatively unknown museum, but well worth a visit. Located in a royal palace next to the embassy district in the center of The Hague, the exhibitions are definitely worth seeing. Furthermore, the prints by artist Escher consistently revolve around the themes of eternity and infinity, which are of great mathematical research value and highly recommended.

There is a big logo here, showing Amsterdam, but it is spelled with different sounds. The Dutch are really creative. You can spend a whole day in this Museum Square and rest leisurely here.

It's a town with a long history. It can't see the momentum of imperial use. Besides windmills, the designs are oriental.

The Music Box Museum is definitely one of the most worthwhile museums to visit. It displays hundreds of years of music boxes, and there are a lot of them, with different shapes and very beautifully made.

This was actually the highlight of my trip to Amsterdam and I didn’t expect it. I absolutely LOVED all the interactive components of the museum as well as the figures portrayed. I would highly recommend squeezing this into your trip for some fun!
