Pai Canyon

Pai Canyon

Pai Grand Canyon is located on the road from Pai to Chiang Mai, 8km away from Pai. The peak of the canyon is the highest point in Pai. You can climb the dirt road to the top for sightseeing. Standing on the top of the canyon, you can see the whole view of Pai County, but people with acrophobia will still feel a little dizzy when walking on this narrow path. If you are looking forward to how magnificent the canyons in Thailand are, then don't waste time going there. The canyons in China are much bigger than here. But it's worth a visit if you want to see the countryside. This is the sunset viewing point. At sunset, the red light, dust and cracks in the cracks are charming in the afterglow of the sunset.Pai · 6.1 km from downtown

Yun Lai Observation Deck is an ideal place to overlook the panoramic view of Pai, and it is also a good place for romantic couples to date. The sunrise is on time at six in the morning, so you can start a beautiful day here a little earlier. In the early morning, sitting on the bench to the left of the "Cloud Come" sign, sipping hot tea, overlooking the quiet mountain village at your feet, the mountains in the distance are full of daisies, clouds and mists, green trees, grass and wildflowers in the mountains. , the unobstructed view is a fresh view, which makes people open to the heart.Pai · 4.5 km from downtown

This is a steel frame bridge of more than 100 meters built by Japanese soldiers during World War II to commemorate World War II. The dark green steel frame on the bridge, the old wooden planks, looked a little outdated. But there are some smart and stylish people who have decorated the bridge with some fun elements to make it even more appealing and a popular filming spot. There is a wooden model of a car on one side of the bridge. People can sit in the car and take a photo. After taking the photo, they can voluntarily put coins in the coin box. There is also a rickshaw in the middle of the bridge, which makes you feel as if you are back in Shanghai in the 1920s and 1930s. During the dry season, the water in the river is relatively watery, and small sandbars gather in the river. You can watch the sunset from the bridge, and watch the river water sparkle with the afterglow of the sunset. Be careful when walking on the bridge. The bridge is quite old, so occasionally old wooden boards will fall off, which is easy to step on.Pai · 7.5 km from downtown

The waterfall is about 10 kilometers away from the Pai district and is the closest waterfall to the town. The waterfall is small in scale. It is a small waterfall group composed of three waterfalls of different sizes. It is very beautiful. Many tourists who like jungle adventure come to play. There are two swimming pools, and visitors can also put on swimwear and swim in the cool water. There are some local food stalls outside the waterfall, you can go outside to taste snacks after playing.Pai · 6.8 km from downtown

Main Temple is a small temple in the east of Pai near Chiang Mai, Thailand. Came here to watch the beautiful sunset after the day trip. The temple is located at a higher place in Pai County. When the weather is good, the sunset scenery is very beautiful, and the overlook is full of green. Many people who travel to Pai will come here. In addition to the beautiful scenery, it is very effective. Tourists can take incense at the door and pay homage to the Buddha. Climbing up the 300-level quaint stone steps, you will have a panoramic view of the Big Buddha, the magnificent sunset and the panoramic view of Pai. In the evening, you can overlook the panoramic view of Pai from the viewing platform, and watch the twilight gradually merge with the smoke from the cooking, which is like a dream.Pai · 2 km from downtown

WatNamHu (South Lake Temple) is a well-known temple here in Pai County, northern Thailand. It comes from the head of a Buddha statue in the temple that always produces clear water, which is regarded as holy water by the people, and has also been interviewed by TV stations, so the incense is flourishing. There is another one where the remains of the elder sister of Thailand's Narisuan the Great (Black Prince/Naruixuan/Nalai Songen/Panalay) are buried here. The king of the Ayutthaya Kingdom is very famous. He led the Thais to defeat the Burmese to restore the dynasty. He is also known as the "five emperors" with the following kings: Ramkhamhaeng: Created the Thai script, the father of Thailand. Said; Zheng Xin/Taksin: Zheng Zhao, the Chinese who established the Thonburi Dynasty in Thailand, the Thai name is Taksin, whose achievement lies in the unification of the whole country of Siam; Mongkut: for Rama Si World, dedicated to reform and abolition of slavery in the 19th century, played by Chow Yun-fat in "Anna and the King" in the movie; Chulalongkorn: for Rama V, Thailand rapidly developed into a nearly modern country when he was in power , and became a special case of foreign invasion to maintain national independence at that time.Pai · 2.6 km from downtown

It's easy to get to, and you don't have to climb a high mountain to see the sunrise and the sea of clouds. It's spacious and the value for money is good. It was cloudy on the day I went, but I was able to see a nice sea of clouds.

📍Bamboo Bridge Let me tell you, it's very deep inside. You have to try it. The way in is a bit difficult. It's like an adventure the whole way. You're always excited about whether you're close or not. Because there's no sign at the end, lol. Keep driving and cheering. Driving into that mountain over there, it's very far. **I recommend coming during the rice farming season. You'll see a lush green view that's definitely more beautiful.** #IfYouGo,FollowMe #packabag

The Pai World War II Memorial Bridge is a steel-frame bridge over 100 meters long built by Japanese soldiers during World War II. The bridge is decorated with many interesting elements, which is very romantic. During the dry season, there is less water in the river, and small sandbanks gather in the river. You can watch the sunset on the bridge.

Mopang Waterfall is located in Mae Na Teng Subdistrict, Pai District, Mae Hong Son Province. It is a medium-sized waterfall with water flowing all year round. It is divided into 3 levels, approximately 5 meters high and 10-15 meters wide. Those who want to swim must go to the 3rd level because there is a large pool suitable for swimming. Mopang Waterfall is not far from Pai District. From kilometer 102 on Highway 1095, go straight towards Mae Hong Son District. Then, when you reach the intersection, turn left until you reach Muser Yapo Village and go another 500 meters. It won’t be long before you see Mopang Waterfall on your right.

The temple is located in Pai County and is one of the more famous temples in the area. Tour groups usually bring you here to see it. The most impressive thing about this temple is the many rooster sculptures and a pool. I have visited many temples in the ancient city of Chiang Mai and this is the only one with a pool. There is a store outside the temple and you can walk around inside.
