Nha Trang beach is the main city beach stretching alongTran Phu Street, extending for approx. 7 km, and facing Nha Trang Bay. There are 19 islands in the bay that block waves from the open sea, making the nearshore water relatively calm and clear. The coastal promenade next to the beach is lined with coconut trees, and the hedges are trimmed into various shapes. In the early morning, residents often run, exercise, or swim directly in the sea on the beach; in the evening, many people also stroll along the promenade, waiting for the sunset over the sea. During the day, you can rent a lounge chair to sunbathe, or go swimming or play beach volleyball. Along the coastal boulevard, there are many restaurants and stalls serving fresh seafood, where you can taste local specialties such as lobster, grilled squid, and fish cake noodle soup. Standing by the beach is the Tram Huong Tower, shaped like an agarwood bud, which is a landmark of the Nha Trang waterfront.Nha Trang · 94.8 km from Phuoc Dinh

Pham Ngu Lao

4.5/5
798 reviews
When it comes to Ho Chi Minh City, no one is unaware of Pham Ngu Lao. Named after the Vietnamese national hero Pham Ngu Lao, the old street is just an ordinary road. What we commonly refer to as the old street is actually an area comprising Pham Ngu Lao and several surrounding roads, a paradise for backpackers. Here, the streets crisscross, with hotels of various grades and budget hostels scattered throughout the neighborhood. Along the roadside, you'll find a wide array of travel agencies, foreign currency redemption locations, restaurants of diverse cuisines, Western eateries, bars, cafes, and shops selling local specialty products—everything you could need. This is the old quarter of Ho Chi Minh City, where the daily life of ordinary people unfolds vividly before your eyes. Travelers of all skin colors can be seen here—some carrying backpacks while searching for accommodation on the streets, others strolling around after setting down their packs, and still others capturing the moment with their cameras. In short, every expression of a backpacker you'd hope to see can be found here. Meal Restaurants from around the world offer a rich variety of flavors. Here you can taste local snacks, and the delicious food from nearby street stalls is no less impressive than that of upscale restaurants. No wonder this place never sleeps—you can always find something tasty even in the middle of the night. You can try the coconut milkshake at Allez Boo, a blend of coconut juice, ice cubes, and milk, and even scoop out the coconut flesh with a small spoon. Alternatively, head to the eatery at the end of the old street for a bowl of beef meatball rice noodles paired with iced coffee—the unique taste is something only you can experience. Or, order a steamed beer crab at some obscure little shop; its thick, tender meat practically melts in your mouth, with an intoxicatingly fresh and sweet flavor. Don't miss the roadside rice skin snacks, available in various flavors—crispy and delicious. And for the girls, there's a variety of ice creams to enjoy, perfectly complemented by tropical fruits. Nightlife The midnight in the old quarter is even more brilliant with lights, and the night is enchanting. The shops on the old street are also the main shopping spots in Ho Chi Minh City. There are many tourist crafts here, allowing you to stroll slowly at night and carefully pick. At night, many sleepless backpackers come out to wander, looking for cafes, snack shops, and juice stalls, making it very lively.Vietnam · Ho Chi Minh City
Mui Ne Fishing Village

Mui Ne Fishing Village

6.4
4.4/5
263 reviews
Mui Ne Fishing Village is a fishing port on the coast of Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Vietnam, that is still in operation today. It is both a fishing village and an open, sandy beach. The bay has calm waters, and fishing boats of various sizes and colors are anchored there year-round. Looking out from the high ground on the shore, the dense cluster of boats looks like a handful of toys scattered on the water. You can also often see the round, woven bamboo basket boats unique to the coast of Vietnam along the beach, which create a very recognizable scene. Walk down the stone steps to the seaside, and you will be greeted by the sea breeze. To see the fishing village, you should go early: fishermen mostly go out to sea at night and return with full loads around sunrise. Fishing boats dock one after another, and the catch is spread directly on the beach for sorting and sale. Women are busy around baskets of fish and shrimp, and the entire beach becomes an open-air seafood morning market. Most of the catch is sold to nearby seafood stalls. In the evening, when the fishing activities subside and the beach becomes quiet, watching the sunset paint the sea red is equally pleasant.Phan Thiet · 92.1 km from Phuoc Dinh

White Sand Dunes

282 reviews
White Sand Dunes is one of the more attractive landscapes in Mui Ne, and it is more spectacular than the Red Sand Dunes, making it well worth a visit. The boundless sand dunes rise and fall, stretching endlessly and outlining elegant curves, resembling a miniature desert; on the other side of the dunes, there is a hidden freshwater lake surrounded by greenery, a landscape of half sand and half water that is rare in this region. This is also a great place to watch the sunrise. If you plan to watch a magnificent desert sunrise, be sure to check the weather forecast in advance and avoid going on cloudy days. Walk slowly on the soft, fine sand toward the high ground, and the view will open up, offering a panoramic view of the nearby lake and oasis.Hoa Thang · 70.6 km from Phuoc Dinh

The Central Post Office in Ho Chi Minh City is a French colonial post office built in the 19th century. The exterior of the Post Office resembles an elaborate train station. Wherever you look, everything is intricately designed and decorated. The dates of the Post Office's construction (1886-1891) are inscribed beneath the large clock over the main entrance. Walk into the Post Office and you'll find a spacious lobby with a classically arching ceiling, round windows, hanging chandeliers, and stunningly gorgeous wall lamps, among other decorative features. Beneath the old map on the wall, there are classic phone booths from which you can make international calls. While visiting the Central Post Office, consider mailing a postcard home.Vietnam · Ho Chi Minh City

Ben Thanh Market is an indoor market with over a century of history and is considered by many to be one of the city's symbols. The market's main entrance faces south, and the clock tower on its facade, paired with the roundabout in front, is an iconic image of the place and a popular backdrop for tourists to stop and take photos. The entire building features French colonial style, while stepping inside reveals a bustling local atmosphere: fabrics, ready-to-wear clothing, ao dai, handicrafts like wood carvings, lacquerware, and embroidered wallets, as well as Vietnamese specialties like coffee beans, dried fruits, and fish sauce, can all be found in various sections, making it perfect for browsing and shopping at a leisurely pace. For authentic Vietnamese flavors, head toward the market's north gate, where food stalls serving pho, broken rice, and various desserts are concentrated. After dark, rows of stalls light up the streets around the market, transforming it into a lively night market.Vietnam · Ho Chi Minh City

Da Lat Night Market is a vibrant market full of local character, attracting many tourists and local residents. The night market usually begins at dusk, and the streets gradually become lively, with a dazzling array of stalls offering a wide variety of goods and food. Food stalls are the highlight of the night market. Vietnamese grilled rice paper, grilled over charcoal, is especially popular in Dalat. Thin rice paper is topped with various ingredients and grilled until the edges are slightly crispy. Biting into it while hot fills your mouth with a savory, smoky flavor. Crowds of customers often gather in front of skewer stalls waiting for their food. There are stalls where you can grab and go, as well as those with tables and chairs where you can sit down and eat at a leisurely pace. Dalat's strawberries are famous, and dried strawberries, jams, and various candied fruits are common items. The merchandise stalls are just as lively: scarves and knit hats are hung in rows, while artichoke tea and flower stalls decorate the street with vibrant colors. The atmosphere of the night market is friendly and welcoming, making it an ideal place to experience Dalat's nightlife.Dalat · 83 km from Phuoc Dinh

Tan Dinh Church

Tan Dinh Church is a Catholic church from the French colonial period that still stands in Ho Chi Minh City. Completed in 1876 and painted pink since 1957, it has earned the nickname "Pink Church" and is a landmark that many tourists make a special trip to visit in Ho Chi Minh City. The church's architecture is primarily Neo-Romanesque, blending Neo-Gothic and Renaissance elements: the main tower in the center of the facade is over 50 m high, with a copper cross approx. 3 m tall at the top. The five bronze bells in the bell tower weigh over 5 tons in total, and the side towers are adorned with symmetrical rose windows. The interior continues the pink theme, with strawberry-pink and creamy-white walls, and two rows of Gothic stone pillars leading to the main altar made of Italian marble, which is considered a highly representative decoration among churches in Saigon.Vietnam · Ho Chi Minh City

Fairy Stream, Mui Ne

5.1
4.1/5
344 reviews
Fairy Stream, Mui Ne is a shallow stream that flows through Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, and eventually empties into the sea. It is said that it was once called Bamboo Stream, but today many travelers prefer to call it the Red Canyon of Mui Ne. Its entrance is quite inconspicuous, hidden at the end of a small alley, and you might miss it if you are not careful; passing through the entrance and walking upstream is where the real highlight of this trip lies. To explore this place, you need to wade upstream. The bottom of the stream is covered with fine, soft red sand and mud, which feels soft and smooth underfoot. The scenery on both sides of the valley offers a striking contrast: on one side are red and white rock walls, eroded by wind and rain over the years, with layers of rock stacked up, covered in spire-like sand pillars and strangely shaped grooves; on the other side are stretches of coconut groves and greenery. The deeper you go, the higher the rock walls and the more intense the colors. Climb up to the red sand highlands and look back, and you can capture the valley, the greenery, and the distant sea all in one frame.Phan Thiet · 93.6 km from Phuoc Dinh

It's been a long time since I've had such a comfortable hotel. Every smiling face was like a gentle spring breeze, and the atmosphere of being respected felt natural. The bedding was comfortable, the service was attentive, and there wasn't a single unpleasant experience. I would definitely come back after my stay.

Ben Thanh Market is a lively and colorful place to experience the local atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City. I enjoyed walking through the busy stalls selling souvenirs, clothes, coffee, spices, and Vietnamese food. The market can be crowded, but that is part of its charm. It is a great place to try local snacks, shop for gifts, and experience the energetic spirit of Saigon.

Before I went to Fairy Creek, I read the guide and it had mixed reviews. Some people said it was beautiful, while others said it was nothing but a stinky ditch. If you have 2 to 3 hours, I believe you will definitely find a beautiful Fairy Creek. It is very beautiful.
