Check in at Pagoda Mountain, a soul-touching red journey
I went to Yan'an for a visit some time ago, and Pagoda Mountain left a very deep impression on me.
Before entering the scenic area, I could see the iconic pagoda from afar. It stood quietly on the top of the mountain. Against the backdrop of the blue sky, it looked solemn and solemn, and instantly pulled me back to that magnificent revolutionary period. Walking into the scenic area, the air was particularly fresh, the mountain was shaded by green trees, and the birds were singing melodiously, which was completely different from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Climbing up Pagoda Mountain, the whole city of Yan'an can be seen at a glance, and the water of the Yan River flows slowly, witnessing the historical changes of this city. There are 260-meter-long cliff stone carvings and stele forests on the mountain. The stone carvings are neat on the shore, and the "Jialing Mountain" inscribed by Fan Zhongyan is vigorous and powerful, which is amazing. The iron bell cast in the Ming Dynasty next to the pagoda seems to still tell the story of timekeeping and alarm in the past. Standing under the pagoda, touching the ancient bricks and stones, I couldn't help but imagine the scene where the revolutionary ancestors struggled here, and my heart was full of shock and emotion.
However, the traffic around the scenic area is congested during the peak tourist season, and parking is not very convenient. It is recommended that you take public transportation. There are relatively few dining options in the scenic area, and the taste is relatively ordinary. If some special foods can be added, I believe that the experience of tourists will be better.
In general, Pagoda Mountain is a tourist destination that combines history, culture and natural scenery. It not only allows me to appreciate the unique charm of Yan'an, but also gives me a deeper understanding of the revolutionary history.
