Bay of Kotor
The Bay of Kotor, full name Boka Kotorska Bay, is located on the Adriatic coast in southeastern Montenegro. It is an iconic bay shaped like a fjord. This bay consists of multiple small bays connected by long and narrow channels, forming one of the best natural ports in Europe. Kotor Old Town View
Kotor Old Town Viewhas been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. The entire old town is surrounded by walls approximately 4.5 km long. The stone walls rise from the seaside, zigzagging up the steep mountain to reach the Castle of San Giovanni at an altitude of about 280 m, forming a complete defensive system. The walls were first built in the 9th century and have been continuously expanded over the following ten centuries, with some sections reaching up to 20 m in height. The old town is accessed through three gates, including the Sea Gate. Upon entering, the first thing that catches the eye is the Place d'Armes, where a clock tower built in 1602 stands, slightly tilted due to multiple earthquakes. Walking deeper along the cobblestone alleys, you will pass the Flour Square, the Karampana Fountain, and several palaces of noble families. The Cathedral of Saint Tryphon is the core landmark of the old town, with its solemn and striking Romanesque twin-bell tower facade. The Maritime Museum next to the cathedral tells the history of navigation in the bay from the 9th century to World War II. About halfway up the climb along the walls, there is also the Church of Our Lady of Remedy, which serves as a viewpoint for a mid-climb rest. Budva Old Town
Budva Old Town has a continuous history of habitation spanning over 2,500 years, making it one of the oldest settlements along the Adriatic coast. Our Lady of the Rocks

Đurđevića Tara Bridge
Đurđevića Tara Bridge is located in northern Montenegro, spanning the Tara River Canyon, on the mountain road between Zabljak and Mojkovac. Construction of this road bridge began in the late 1930s and was completed in 1940. It is over 300 m long, with five concrete arches supporting a bridge deck that stands over 100 m above the river. Looking down from the bridge, you can see nearly vertical cliffs and the rushing Tara River beneath your feet. The deepest part of the Tara River Canyon exceeds 1 km, making it a famous deep gorge in the Balkan Peninsula with rugged terrain. Đurđevića Tara Bridge is also widely known because of a film: during World War II, to block the advance of Italian forces, partisans, with the help of an engineer, blew up one of the bridge's arches. The engineer was later captured and killed on the bridge. This story was adapted into the 1969 Yugoslav film "The Bridge." The film was widely popular in China at the time, and its theme song, "Bella Ciao," is still widely sung today. Budva's Old Town is surrounded by city walls, its cobblestone streets worn smooth by time. The church bell tower is the tallest building; climbing it offers a view of red rooftops merging seamlessly with the sea. The harbor lies right at the city gate, where fishing boats and yachts mingle. Small shops sell local handicrafts, and the aroma of grilled fish wafts through the alleyways. In the evening, sitting at the foot of the city walls to watch the sunset, the sea turns orange-red; after the tourists leave, it becomes very quiet.

I rented a car from Tivat Airport and drove for three and a half hours on a mountain road just to see the Tara River Valley Bridge - the famous Yugoslav World War II classic movie "The Bridge", a classic memory of a generation. Walking on the bridge, I seemed to hear a familiar melody in my ears - Ah, my friend, goodbye! Ah, my friend, goodbye~ goodbye~ goodbye...
