The Erawan Museum weighs 250 tons and is about 16 stories high. It is carved from pure copper. Through the elevator in the elephant's legs, you can lead to the museum in the belly of the elephant to explore the mysteries of Thailand's elephant god culture. Feel the charm of architectural culture and religious art. △ Amazing culture and art in the museum The three-headed elephant is the Erawan Elephant god in Thai folk tales. It is the mount of Indra, a god in Brahmanism. Indra is known to be the guardian of the heaven, Indra's name has the meaning of 'leader of the gods', while Erawan's name means rain, raincloud, rainbow. This is reflected in the myth that Indra would ride the Erawan Elephant and bestow rain upon the earth. The construction of this three-headed elephant god began in 1994 and was slowly restored by hiring local handicraft artists. During the construction period, many miracles happened, so even now, countless people still go to worship it every day. It can be regarded as the elephant god who responds to all requests.

King Power Mahanakhon Sky Walk

2.4k reviews

Located on the top floor of King Power Mahanakhon in Bangkok, King Power Mahanakhon Sky Walk is Thailand's iconic high-altitude observation deck. The building's exterior is renowned for its distinctive pixelated spiral facade—cuboid indentations and cutouts spiral across the glass curtain wall, creating tiered setbacks and terraces that, from a distance, resemble a block tower with sections "carved away," making it a highly striking modern landmark on the Bangkok skyline. Upon entering the building, visitors board a high-speed multimedia elevator that reaches the indoor observation deck in under a minute. The indoor deck is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass, offering a 360° panoramic view of Bangkok. On clear days, visitors can gaze toward the Chao Phraya River and the Grand Palace. Interactive touchscreens and high-powered telescopes are set up by the windows to help visitors identify the various districts below. Continuing up to the rooftop, a transparent glass floor platform suspended more than 300 m above ground makes standing on it feel like walking in midair above the city. At dusk, visitors can watch the sunset and the city lights gradually illuminate from here.

Jurassic World: The Experience

1.4k reviews

Jurassic World: The Experience is an immersive venue themed around the Jurassic World film series, located within the Asiatique riverside night market complex along the Chao Phraya River. Based on the cinematic universe created by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, travelers are guided to "board" Isla Nublar, traversing through a venue spanning thousands of square meters that recreates jungle and research station scenes from the films. Along the way, they are surrounded by life-size animatronic dinosaurs, with the low growls of a massive T. rex and the towering silhouette of a Brachiosaurus creating an up-close, on-site spectacle. The trip unfolds layer by layer with the storyline—at the field research station, travelers must mimic calls to help locate the lost stegosaurus; when the T. rex's roar suddenly echoes, everyone follows the group in a jog to take shelter in the lab, blending thrills with fun. The entire experience takes place indoors, lasting about one hour, with on-site guides primarily in English and Thai, ensuring both family-friendly enjoyment and delight for dinosaur enthusiasts. A souvenir shop is set up at the exit, and the park also features a "Fossils & Flames" themed restaurant inspired by the film, extending the prehistoric adventure to the dining table—perfect for pairing with a riverside night market trip on the same day.

SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World

7.9
4.5/5
8.4k reviews

SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World brings a large aquarium into the two basement floors of Siam Paragon mall in downtown Bangkok, making it a highly popular family-friendly indoor attraction. Over a dozen themed exhibition areas guide visitors from tropical rainforests to the deep sea, with hundreds of marine species inhabiting the space, including large sharks measuring nearly 4 m in length. The underwater tunnel is the highlight of the aquarium, offering a 270-degree curved view where sharks, rays and schools of fish glide slowly overhead and alongside visitors. The shark walkway is a glass floor suspended above the shark tank, allowing guests to look down and see sharks swimming beneath their feet. The penguin snow park is home to a group of gentoo penguins, and through the underwater viewing window, visitors can watch them "fly" through the water, while African penguins can also be spotted in another rocky coastal area. The Asian small-clawed otters in the tropical rainforest zone are lively and playful, often drawing crowds. The jellyfish exhibit becomes particularly dreamy under changing lights, while the seahorse kingdom and green sea turtle zone invite a slower pace for closer observation. The coral reef area features schools of clownfish darting about, and the rock pool, where visitors can touch intertidal creatures like starfish, is especially popular with children. The aquarium offers scheduled feeding guides for penguins, otters, sharks and rays daily. We recommend checking the day's time slots upon arrival to plan your visit accordingly. The coral reef zone offers an optional glass-bottom boat experience - watch keepers hand-feed fish and sharks glide beneath the boat for a unique perspective. Fully air-conditioned indoors, it's ideal in any weather. A two-hour visit allows comfortable exploration, though families with children may want to allocate more time. △ Here you can observe tropical rainforest creatures such as Asian small-clawed otters, hook ants, and green crested lizards. △ Come and see our adorable Papuan penguins

We heard so much about this roof top view and had to see it for ourselves. We were a little late to catch the setting sun due to the notorious traffic of Bangkok. The surrounding views were fantastic due to the height & location of the building. We enjoyed ourselves and the SkyVerse was a bonus to add to the trip. It's a one-off good experience at the Skywalk and it's best to capture Bangkok at both the daylight and night time.
