Jewel Changi Airport
Jewel Changi Airport is located at Singapore Changi Airport, adjacent to Terminal 1 and connected to Terminals 2 and 3 via link bridges. Even if you're just transferring between flights, you can easily visit this landmark that combines garden views, recreational facilities, and shopping and dining. The entire structure revolves around the Shiseido Forest Valley in its atrium, where nearly a thousand trees and tens of thousands of shrubs cascade down the slopes. Two themed walking trails wind through the valley: the waterfall trail on the east side spirals up along the rock wall, while the Shiseido trail on the west is shrouded in mist. Either trail leads gently to the top, where you can access the Canopy Park. Along the way, there are entry points and rest areas where you can pause to admire the lush valley from different vantage points. The rain vortex at the heart of forest valley is the park's centerpiece, where water cascades from an opening in the glass dome, plunging approx. 40 m through the trees into a pool below—visible from surrounding walkways on every floor. At night, the waterfall transforms into a light-and-sound show synchronized with music, a highlight many visitors eagerly await. The rooftop starry garden elevates play to new heights: whimsical slides, mist bowls, and floral and shrub gardens invite family strolls; a hedge maze features a central lookout tower for panoramic views; the mirror maze's layered greenery, reflected infinitely, creates an illusion of boundless foliage; the skywalk spans the atrium with a glass-floor section offering dizzying views of the waterfall and valley below. Merlion Park
Singapore's Merlion Park is a pedestrian area located just alongside the mouth of the Singapore River. Singapore's famous Merlion statue is located here. The half-lion, half-mermaid hybrid is the symbol of Singapore. Behind the original Merlion there is now a little Merlion cub which, along with the big one, also spits jets of water from its mouth. The Origin of the Merlion According to local residents, there are a total of four Merlions in Singapore. The ones in the park are the mother and a baby, the one on the island is the father, and another baby is on Mount Faber. An ancient Sumatran prince once saw a mythical beast in the area that resembled a lion, so he named the island Lion City, while the fish tail of the Merlion represents Singapore's past as a fishing port. The Merlion is themed around water, and at night, combined with lighting effects, it creates a visual effect of floating on the blue waves. The park has an open-air grandstand where visitors can go up to take photos with the Merlion, and various art performances and entertainment activities are also held on the grandstand from time to time. In addition, the stairs connecting the Merlion and the grandstand not only allow visitors to get close to the water but also enable them to sit on the stairs and take a short break. Merlion Park has two different flavors during the day and at night. Mount Faber Park

Singapore River
The Singapore River is a river that flows through Singapore, winding from the Kim Seng Bridge area in the central district and merging into Marina Bay to the south. With a total length of just over three km, it marks the starting point of the city's founding history. In January 1819, the British Raffles led a fleet to land near the river mouth, after which both banks gradually developed into Singapore's commercial hub. Under the free port policy, merchants built rows of warehouses along the river. Today, most of these old buildings have been renovated and preserved, transformed into restaurants, bars, and shops in areas like Boat Quay and Clarke Quay. The riverside is perfect for a stroll during the day, while at night, the lights along the river create a different ambiance. A riverside walk connects many landmarks: Merlion Park, Raffles' Landing Site, the Arts House at the Old Parliament, and Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall are all clustered along the riverbank and estuary. For a different perspective, board a traditional bumboat cruise at Boat Quay or Clarke Quay. The approx. 40-min journey follows the current past bridges of varying eras and styles like Cavenagh Bridge, Clemenceau Bridge, and Anderson Bridge. On one side are quaint old quay buildings, while the other showcases the skyscrapers of the central business district. Haji Ln
Haji Ln is located in the heart of the Kampong Glam district. It is an exceptionally narrow alley, with rows of pre-war houses on both sides that retain their original layout. These houses were originally used as lodging for pilgrims traveling to Mecca and were once quiet in the last century, until local designers and young entrepreneurs began moving in, transforming it into the hub of creative boutiques it is today. Walking into the alley, you are greeted by colorful murals and graffiti that cover almost every exterior wall, making it a perfect spot for photos and a popular gathering place for street style and photography enthusiasts. I really like this place, it feels like 2050, btw there are free tours if you stay in Singapore less than 24 hours and a lot of attractions around Jewel, so come 8 hrs before your flight :)

One of Singapore's landmarks, besides taking creative photos with the Merlion, the beachfront scenery is also very pleasant, with Marina Bay Sands and the iconic durian tree across the water. A must-visit!

It's definitely worth a visit, not only for the plants but also for the historical experience. It embodies Lee Kuan Yew's vision of a city garden, especially the orchid garden, which is absolutely beautiful. If you come, don't get off at the Botanic Gardens MRT station; go to its southeast entrance.

Taking a boat trip is great; you can listen to the commentary, enjoy the scenery along the banks, and even hear about some attractions you might have missed. I recommend taking a boat trip on the first day, as it will help you plan your itinerary for the rest of the trip.
For example, there's no need to go to Merlion Park; it's crowded and sunny, and you can take photos from the boat 😄. Alternatively, you can choose to go in the evening when it's less hot.

Faber Peak is a wonderful place to enjoy panoramic views of Singapore. The lush greenery, peaceful atmosphere, and stunning city skyline make it perfect for a relaxing escape from the busy city center. We were incredibly lucky the day we went! It opened ten minutes early at 9:50 AM, so we had a blast. Almost no facilities were under maintenance, except for Sesame Street in the afternoon where the queue was a bit long. This allowed us to make it to Sentosa Island to watch the sunset! After eating crabs at Jumbo, we just caught the 20:00 boat. It was really nice to take a tour with the boat and see the scenery. The only problem was that the explanation was in English, which was not friendly to poor students. I could only understand some of it with difficulty. It would be better if I could plug in my own headphones and listen to the Chinese explanation like in the Night Safari.

Haji Lane is a famous check-in spot in Singapore, attracting many tourists with its colorful buildings and literary atmosphere. The overall style has some shadows of Little India. The streets are narrow but full of personality. The graffiti on the walls and independent shops make this place unique. However, when you really walk in, you will find that most of the space is actually various ground floor shops and specialty shops. People who really gather to take pictures are often concentrated in front of road signs, intersections or specific Internet celebrity walls.
