Ageeba Beach
Ageeba Beach is located in the Matrouh Governorate on the Mediterranean coast of northwestern Egypt, approx. 20 km west of the Mersa Matruh city center. "Ageeba" means "miracle" in Arabic, and this name is no exaggeration: the small bay is embraced by towering white limestone cliffs. The Siwa Sand Castle is a thousand-year-old castle located on the banks of the Nile. Although it is dilapidated, its former majesty can still be seen from the ruins. It must have been a military fortress in ancient times. It is located in a commanding position, and the surrounding Nile River scenery is unobstructed, which is very beautiful.
