Union Buildings are situated atop Meintjieskop in Pretoria, the highest point in the city, offering a panoramic view of the capital from the front of the buildings. Designed by British architect Herbert Baker and completed in 1913, this complex is constructed with light-colored sandstone, featuring reddish-brown roofs that contrast with the beige walls. The overall layout is semi-circular, with two wings extending to either side, connected by a curved colonnade. The architecture blends Italian Renaissance Neoclassical style with Cape Dutch details, and each wing is topped by a domed tower featuring a statue of Atlas holding up the globe. The interior is decorated in the Cape Dutch style, with teak doors and dark beams that contrast beautifully with the white walls.South Africa · Pretoria

Kruger National Park spans Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces in South Africa, covering nearly 20,000 square kilometers, and is one of South Africa's largest game reserves. This area was first protected in 1898 and later officially established as a national park in 1926. The park is home to nearly 150 mammal species and over 500 bird species, and is famous for the free-roaming Big Five—lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and African buffaloes—with a range of wildlife from large herbivores like elephants and giraffes to carnivores such as leopards and cheetahs. The park's diverse vegetation zones create distinct animal habitats. The north is dominated by mopane shrubveld, where elephant herds often forage; the central savanna gathers large numbers of zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes, which also attracts lion prides; the southern riverine areas have dense vegetation, where birds and leopards are more commonly seen. Visitors can choose to self-drive along the park roads or join a guided sunrise or sunset game drive. Animals are more active in the early morning and evening. During the dry season, vegetation is sparse and water sources are concentrated, making it easier to spot elephants, buffaloes, and even lion prides at close range along the roadside. There are multiple camps within the park, and visitors can join night game drives organized by the camps for a chance to spot nocturnal animals.South Africa · Mopani

Lion & Safari Park is located in the suburbs of Hartbeespoort, South Africa, and is a popular wildlife destination around Johannesburg and Pretoria. The park features vast grasslands and a natural ecological environment. Upon entering, the expansive African savanna landscape is impressive, with large stretches of golden grass interspersed with low shrubs, and rolling hills occasionally visible in the distance, presenting a typical Southern African natural landscape. "Visited the iconic Union Buildings in Tshwane, and I was absolutely captivated by its grandeur and history. As the seat of South Africa’s government, the architecture is a breathtaking blend of classical and Cape Dutch styles. The panoramic views from the hilltop are unmatched, and the beautifully landscaped gardens add to the peaceful atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone in Pretoria, it's a powerful reminder of South Africa’s journey towards democracy and unity.

I have consistently visited the Kruger National Park and have never been disappointed. Every visit has offered different types of sightings. The rest camps are great. Prepare for losing cell phone signal in certain parts of the park which is honestly a blessing in disguise. Always take some snacks and extra water.

🕊️ Apartheid Museum – A Powerful Journey Through South Africa’s HistoryThe Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg is a deeply moving tribute to South Africa’s struggle for freedom and equality. Through powerful exhibits, photographs, films, and personal stories, it chronicles the rise and fall of apartheid with honesty and emotion. Visitors walk through thought-provoking displays that highlight the courage, pain, and triumph of those who fought for justice. The museum’s design itself—symbolic and immersive—creates a reflective atmosphere that stays with you long after your visit. A visit to the Apartheid Museum is not just educational but profoundly human, reminding us of the enduring value of dignity and unity. 🇿🇦 #SouthAfrica #Johannesburg #ApartheidMuseum #History #HumanRights

There are many resort hotels here. Just choose the one that you think is suitable for your price range. However, in the resort, you can basically only take the bus route or the hotel to arrange your travel destination, so sometimes it is a problem to get back to the hotel.

Early in the morning, no, early in the morning, anyway, we set off before dawn in order to match the animals' schedule because today is another day to see animals. How come there are so many animals to see in South Africa? Different from the cute little ones before, what we saw today were all fierce and fierce, such as African elephants, African leopards, African antelopes, and African rhinos. Anyway, they were all local African brands, guaranteed to be genuine. The place we went to is called Pilanesberg Game Reserve. It is located in the north of South Africa, north of Sun City. It is the fourth largest wildlife park in South Africa, covering an area of more than 500 square kilometers. I have been to many wildlife parks, and I have run a lot in outdoor wilderness like this. To be honest, it is really a physical job. First of all, you have to have good eyesight. Usually, in order not to affect the animals themselves, vehicles will not stop too close. At this time, you have to be able to distinguish them in time. Secondly, you have to have a good guy, at least a long lens, otherwise it is quite strenuous to rely on the focus and anti-shake of the mobile phone. Thirdly, you have to turn your neck quickly because someone in front, behind, left, and right of you will suddenly tell you that a certain animal or a group of certain animals have appeared in a certain direction, and you have to turn around immediately. How to say it, it is very suitable for friends who like animals and have a curiosity. People like me who can't get up in the morning Those who can't even open their glasses are more tired, haha

We visited wildlife parks near Johannesburg, the most famous of which was the Lion Park. There are many wildlife parks in South Africa, and the types of wild animals are also very complete. However, there are some problems with the security in Johannesburg, so we need to be vigilant.

The Time Bridge in Sun City is located in the center of Sun City Amusement Park. This bridge is also called the Earthquake Bridge. When you pass through this bridge, it will make a loud rumbling sound, giving people a feeling of shaking the earth. In fact, this design is also to commemorate the indomitable spirit of Sun City, which was destroyed in the earthquake but miraculously rebuilt. It is also a place that every tourist who comes to Sun City must experience.
