Yashima is a peninsula located northeast of Takamatsu City, famous for its rich history and natural landscape. Here is some information about Yashima: 1. **Yashima Temple**: There is a famous Buddhist temple on Yashima, Yashima Temple, which is the 84th of the 88 temples in Shikoku. This temple has a long history and is one of Japan's important cultural heritage. 2. **Yashima Castle Ruins**: Yashima was once an important military stronghold in ancient Japan. The Yashima Castle Ruins are now a historical park where visitors can learn about ancient Japanese history. 3. **Natural Landscape**: Yashima is famous for its beautiful natural landscape, especially the magnificent view of the Seto Inland Sea from the top of the mountain. It is also a popular place to watch the sunset. 4. **Yashima Aquarium**: There is also an aquarium on Yashima that displays the rich marine life of the Seto Inland Sea. 5. **Historical Event**: Yashima has historically hosted the famous "Battle of Yashima", an important battle in the Genpei War.

One of the prettiest gardens ive been to while I was staying in Japan. Its a good spot to try out udon and it was really affordable. The view is amazing too and a great place to take pictures! I went to both night and day and they have lights during the night, giving a magical feel to it.

Takamatsu Port is located in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan, facing the Seto Inland Sea, very close to JR Takamatsu Station. It is the gateway to the islands of the Seto Inland Sea, and Naoshima, Shodoshima, Teshima, etc. can all depart from here. There are regular ferries and fast ferries. Regular ferries are slower, but cheaper, and you can bring bicycles, motorcycles, and cars on board. Fast ferries can only carry people. The port consists of a ticket office, a rest area, and a boarding pier. It is not large in scale, but has all the basic functions.

Shikoku Island has had a small population and poor resources since ancient times, and there has been no change now. Most of the historical sites that can be seen are castles, but Japanese castles are similar, and with Himeji Castle as a shining example, only some small features of seaside castles can be seen. Takamatsu Castle is in Tamamo Park, with many tall pine trees... It is a depression. When Toyotomi Hideyoshi was a younger brother of Oda Nobunaga, he fought his last battle here, and it was flooded.

It's about 45 minutes by limousine bus from Takamatsu Airport. I stayed at a hotel in front of the station. The night view is beautiful😍 Right in front of you is the Takamatsu Symbol Tower. I read online that it's open until 23:00. It's lit up. It's right in front of you as soon as you exit Takamatsu Station. Definitely check it out!

Shikoku Village displays the historical features of the Shikoku region and some landscape introductions. The town is not big, and the villages here are quite interesting. You can see many ancient museum exhibition halls.
