A must visit when you are Tashkent... I think it is the best attraction in Tashkent. The architecture is gorgeous and there are multiple mosques and madrsas to see.

The museum is located on the north side of Timur Square, and the architecture is very distinctive. It is recommended to do your homework before coming, so that you will have a better experience of the exhibition. We did not hire a guide, and we only knew a little about history, so we could only take a quick look.

Amir Temur Square is the absolute heart of Tashkent and the perfect spot to start exploring the city.It is basically a huge, green roundabout with a massive bronze statue of Tamerlane on his horse right in the middle. The vibe here is super laid-back, clean, and safe. It gets especially lively in the evenings when the summer heat starts and both locals and tourists come out to stroll.

Chorzu Bazaar is a must visit whenever in Taskent. Here you can experience the vibrant atmosphere of sellers doing their best to offload their produce. Spices, teas, butchers, bakers, fruit and vegtable stands, you name it. Visit time is best in morning when crowds are big and you get the best feel.

The Tashkent Museum of Applied Arts was built in 1927. It displays more than 7,000 tapestries, utensils, jewelry, pottery and clothing from the early 19th century to the present day. It is an interesting destination for in-depth understanding of the handicraft culture of the Uzbek people. Standing in the courtyard and looking around, the blue-green columns and the collage patterns on the exterior walls are fresh and beautiful.

Beautiful, recently reopened, but in my opinion too expensive. It displays important historical artifacts, recreating a timeline, but in my opinion the ticket is too expensive.
