Timgad
Timgard is located in Batna, Algeria. It was built in the 1st century AD and is a very famous ancient city site. Timgard used to be an outpost of the Third Legion of Augustus in ancient Rome, and the later Roman Emperor Trajan established the city of Tamgard here. The 6th century Berber uprising drove out the Romans and renamed it Timgard. In 1880, Algeria unearthed the face of the ancient city ruins, and UNESCO listed this ancient city as a world cultural heritage. Timgard is an ancient Roman ruin belonging to Algeria, and it is the well-preserved Roman fort city ruins in North Africa. Sidi M'Cid Bridge
Sidi M'Cid Bridge is a 164 m long suspension bridge across the Rhummel River in Constantine, Algeria. It was opened to traffic in April 1912 and until 1929 was the highest bridge in the world at 175 m. The bridge was designed by French engineer Ferdinand Arnodin and links the Casbah to Sidi M'Cid hill.
