Disneyland Resort California

Disneyland Resort California is an entertainment resort in Anaheim, California, USA. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its experiences division, featuring two theme parks (Disneyland and Disney California Adventure), three hotels, and the Disney Downtown shopping, dining, and entertainment district. Disneyland Park features Sleeping Beauty Castle as its landmark, with scenes from the fairy tale displayed inside. The Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area recreates the streets of Batuu from the movies, where visitors can board the Millennium Falcon. Classic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, and Haunted Mansion in New Orleans Square have been operating for decades, with daytime parades often winding through the park. At Disney California Adventure Park, Cars Land is modeled after the desert town from the movie, with Radiator Springs Racers remaining a perennial favorite. The Avengers Campus offers thrilling experiences like Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout! and an interactive shooting adventure with Spider-Man. Over at Pixar Pier, the Incredicoaster races along the bay. At night, Disneyland lights up the sky with castle fireworks, while Disney California Adventure dazzles with a grand water and light show on the lake. Given the resort's size and long queues for popular attractions, two full days are recommended to fully explore both parks—hit the top rides early, then explore at leisure. Keep an eye out for hidden Mickey easter eggs scattered throughout the parks, as spotting them adds to the fun. After the parks close, head to Downtown Disney for dining and shopping to cap off your day. Disneyland was the company's first theme park, and also a theme park built by Walt Disney, which opened on July 17, 1955. Disney California Adventure Park is a theme park based on Disney's interpretation of California, which opened on February 8, 2001.

Statue of Liberty

Statue of Liberty

10
4.7/5
3.1k reviews

The Statue of Liberty stands on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, officially named "Liberty Enlightening the World." It was a gift from the people of France to the United States, created to commemorate American independence and completed in 1886. Designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, its internal steel framework was crafted by Gustave Eiffel, the designer of the Eiffel Tower. She holds a torch aloft in her right hand and a tablet inscribed with "July 4, 1776" in her left, with broken chains at her feet. The seven spikes on her crown symbolize the seven continents and seven seas, while the theme of breaking free from*********and embracing liberty is woven into every detail. Reaching the crown is the signature experience here: ascend via the narrow double-helix staircase inside the statue to overlook New York Harbor and the Manhattan skyline from the crown's observation windows. Crown access has limited availability and requires advance reservations. The staircase is steep and narrow with no elevator, so travelers with acrophobia or limited physical stamina should assess their capabilities. Opting for the pedestal observatory still allows close-up views of the statue and panoramic harbor vistas. The original torch replaced in 1984 is now displayed at the Statue of Liberty Museum on the island, which opened in 2019, fully presenting the statue's construction history and symbolic significance. The adjacent Ellis Island Immigration Museum recounts the stories of millions of immigrants who entered the U.S. here to begin new lives, often combined with a visit to Liberty Island. △Statue of LibertyCrown visit: one of the must-do experiences is climbing up to the statue's crown. Travelers can access the crown via a narrow spiral staircase and enjoy the magnificent views of the city skyline. △: Closely connected, the visit is a fascinating experience. This museum tells the story of millions of immigrants who passed through to start new lives in the United States. △Statue of LibertyPedestal access: Travelers can also enter the pedestal to observe the statue and its intricate details up close. The pedestal also houses a museum showcasing the history and significance of the statue.

Yellowstone National Park is one of the national parks in the United States with a relatively diverse combination of landscapes. The park's terrain encompasses snow-capped mountains, forests, canyons, lakes, and rivers, with geothermal features being a particularly special landscape—the colorfulGrand Prismatic Springis the iconic symbol of Yellowstone. The park is divided into five major areas by the figure-eight Grand Loop Road: the northwest is Mammoth Hot Springs, where the layered carbonate terraces are spectacular, making it one of the largest known carbonate-depositing hot springs in the world; the northeast is the Roosevelt area, which preserves the old western style; the central part is the Canyon area, where the Brink of Lower Falls and the upper and lower waterfalls are magnificent; the southeast is the Yellowstone Lake area, where hot springs and lake water blend to form a unique landscape; and the southwest is the Geyser Basin, whereOld Faithfulis famous for its predictable eruption cycle. In addition, Norris Geyser Basin is located on the north side of the Grand Loop Road between Mammoth Hot Springs and the Canyon area, and it is the hottest geothermal area in the Yellowstone region. The park is home to American bison, elk, moose, black bears, grizzly bears, wolves, pronghorn, and various bird species, with herds of bison often leisurely crossing the road. Viewing geothermal landscapes, wildlife observation, and hiking are long-standing popular experiences here, and the vast wilderness and varied terrain also provide rich material for photography.

A truly iconic building that’s absolutely worth a visit, especially the 86th‑floor open‑air observatory. The views were jaw‑dropping and easily some of my favourite I’ve ever seen. Just love it ♥️

Perhaps because the summer holidays are over, there were no lines. It was very convenient to scan the code to enter. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is very large, so you can stroll around at your own pace. If you get tired, there are places to grab a drink or a snack. The US is a large country, not crowded. Even in very lively areas, there are plenty of places to rest, which is very thoughtful.
