The white twin-towered Benedictine Abbey is a landmark building on the Tihany Peninsula in the Balaton region. Benedictine Abbey was built earlier in 1055, and only the cellar part has been preserved. In the 18th century, a Baroque church was rebuilt on the site. Lake cave is located in the quiet and beautiful town of Tapolca. From the outside, you can't see that there is a large rugged cave underground. The open part of the cave is for boating, so reservations are required. The whole trip takes about 1.5 hours. But 1 hour of it is to explain the formation of the cave terrain and watch a movie. Then 2 or 3 people are in a boat. The water is clear and the width of the cave makes boating not difficult. You can push the wall with your hands to adjust the direction of the boat, so experience it calmly.

The Benedictine Monastery and Museum is a great place to learn about Hungarian history. The interior of the monastery is very gorgeous, and there is an observation deck outside that overlooks Lake Balaton and the sunset over Balaton. The scenery is very charming.
