Furong Town Waterfall is hidden in Furong Town, located in theWuling Mountains of Western Hunan. A stream flows through the town, and upon reaching the end of the town, it cascades down from a cliff in two tiers, with a drop of approx. 60 m and a width of approx. 40 m, plunging directly into the Youshui River below the cliff. The ancient town is known as the "millennium-old town hanging on a waterfall" because of this waterfall—the waterfall roars right beside the eaves of the old street, and this waterfall view that integrates with the entire town is very unique. On the cliffs on both sides of the waterfall, Tujia stilt houses hang in layers beside the waterfall; walking along the Wuli Slate Street that winds with the mountain to the edge of the cliff, you can look down at the entire water curtain. Descending to the Wangcun Old Wharf by the Youshui River at the foot of the cliff, you can look up at the scene of the waterfall and the stilt houses in the same frame. Shen Congwen once praised the exquisite beauty of the mountains, waters, trees, and stones at Wangcun Wharf. The waterfall has different highlights throughout the four seasons: during the high-water season, the water volume is abundant and the momentum is grand, and you can hear the roar from far away; during the normal water season, it looks like a white silk hanging from the cliff, making the ancient town appear even quieter. After nightfall, the lights turn on, and the waterfall and the buildings on the cliff take on a different silhouette. The night view of the grand waterfall attracts many tourists to stay until the evening.

The starting point of the Xiangxi Mengdong River rafting is "Hani Palace", about 40 kilometers away from Wangcun (Furong Town), and the end point is Niulu River. The rafting waterway is 11.37 kilometers long. From Hani Palace, take a rubber boat downstream, passing Shanjiaoyan, Jilongmen, Nietu Waterfall, Huishou Gorge, Luoshuikeng Waterfall, Mengsi Gorge, etc. to the end point Niulu River Bridge Reception Station. The ruins of Laosicheng are located in Laosicheng Village, Lingxi Town, more than 20 kilometers east of Yongshun County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. They were originally named Fushicheng. Laosicheng was the political, economic, military and cultural center of Yongshun Peng Tusi from the fifth year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1135) to the sixth year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1724). It is divided into the inner Luocheng and the outer Luocheng, with eight crisscrossing streets and ten alleys, densely populated, and prosperous shops. There are records in history books that "there are 3,000 households in the city and 800 households outside the city". Laosicheng is the material carrier of the Tusi system and a living specimen of China's ancient ethnic regional autonomy system. It was announced as the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units in 2001. In September 2010, the ruins of Laosicheng were included in the first batch of national archaeological site park project list. On July 4, 2015, the "Chinese Tusi Heritage" represented by the Yongshun Laosi City Ruins, the Tangya Tusi City Ruins in Enshi, Hubei, and the Hailongtun Tusi Ruins in Zunyi, Guizhou was listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
