Lake Kinrin
Lake Kinrin is one of the representative sightseeing spots in the Yufuin area. It is located at the foot of Mount Yufu. It was formerly known as Yuexia Pond. Later, a Confucian scholar saw the lake glittering like fish scales under the setting sun, and it was renamed Lake Kinrin from then on. In addition to the runoff injected by Yubuyue, there are also natural springs at the bottom of the lake, so Lake Kinrin is actually half a hot spring lake. How can you miss Kinrin Lake when you come to Yufuin
In the morning, the lake is covered with mist, and it feels like you are in a fairyland
When the sun rises, the mist dissipates, and you can see the lake rippling like fish scales, which is so beautiful. There is a hot spring hotel nearby, which is very convenient. The small shop under the hot spring hotel is also very good. The colored candies sold there are delicious, with several flavors. The green one is matcha, the yellow one is ginger flavor, and the key color is amber. You can buy it and try it. I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Yunotsubo Street is located at the foot of Mount Yufu. The streets are lined with shops that give the atmosphere of the Edo period. There are souvenir shops selling local specialties of Oita Prefecture and restaurants. It is a popular spot with many tourists.

Yufuin has a beautiful valley scenery, a wide view, surrounded by mountains, beautiful and refreshing. You can see more beautiful scenery from a high place. It is recommended to go there on a sunny day. We went there in the rainy season, and it was not very convenient to walk.
