The Matterhorn is 4478 meters above sea level. Its special triangular cone shape is very representative and is a symbol of the Alps. Especially at sunrise and sunset, the snow-covered mountains reflect a metallic light, which is breathtaking. . Difficult mountaineering challenges Matterhorn is the last major mountain in the Alps to be conquered, and many mountaineers regard it as a difficult challenge due to its extremely steep and precipitous terrain. Even now, it is only possible to reach the summit by a professional climber with complete equipment, accompanied by an experienced guide. From the foot of the mountain, the town of Zermatt at the foot of the Matterhorn is a good place to overlook the Matterhorn, and the MatterVispa River in the center of the town is the best choice for watching the morning view of the Matterhorn. . Standing by the river and looking along the empty river, the king of the mountains without the roof and branches to cover it looks even more majestic. A close-up view of the Matterhorn from the glacier paradise There is a small Matterhorn (KleinMatterhorn) near the Matterhorn. There is a viewing platform 3883 meters above sea level on its steep hill, known as the "Matterhorn" Glacier Paradise". The first leg of the journey from Zermatt to the Rothorn is to take the underground funicular "Sunneg Express" to the Sunnega Viewpoint. "Sunnega" means "sun-drenched corner", it is a popular place to watch the complete scenery of the Matterhorn from the foothills to the top, surrounded by green pastures, endless as far as the eye can see. If you have limited time and want to find a good angle to admire the Matterhorn, the Sunnegga Observation Deck is the best choice. From Zermatt's station, you can reach Sunnega at an altitude of 2,288 meters in just 5 minutes by underground funicular. The station has a restaurant and an open viewing platform, plus the often sunny weather, it is very enjoyable to enjoy food in the open-air seating area looking at the Matterhorn. If you have enough time, you can continue to take the aerial cable car to the Rothorn.Zermatt · 1.8 km from downtown

The Matterhorn is one of the most iconic mountains in the Swiss Alps, renowned for its distinctive pyramid shape and stunning beauty. The surrounding area, particularly Zermatt, provides a charming alpine village experience with a range of outdoor activities. The Gornergrat railway offers spectacular panoramic views of the Matterhorn and the surrounding peaks.

From Zermatt GGB to Gornergrat, you need to take a cogwheel train. After using the Swiss pass to get a 50% discount, I paid 57 Swiss francs. The ticket price is for reference only. The ticket price will fluctuate during the off-season and peak season. We went there during the National Day. The starting point is opposite the Zermatt train station. It takes 5 stops to get to Gornergrat by cogwheel train. Gornergrat is the last stop. Due to the high altitude, it is easier to see the Matterhorn. Taking reflection photos in Rotenboden requires higher weather conditions. We waited for two hours before we saw it.

Lake Riffel is on the top of a mountain, in the Alps on the border of Switzerland and France. In winter, the snow and the lake melt together. It is a very nice view. It is very far from Saas Fee.

Beautiful lakeside promenade, both from Saint-Brice to the city center and from the city center to Boudry. The lake and the landscape change frequently depending on the weather and the season. The summer vacation at home was 5 days of yoga at 7 am in Jeunes Rives (city of Neuchâtel), where the setting is spectacular with hundreds of birds flying around and landing on the lake. In short, the lake reminds you of vacation, no matter where you are when traveling in the world. I'd be happy to see him again.

Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe is one of Switzerland’s most spectacular mountain destinations, offering an unforgettable experience high in the Swiss Alps. Surrounded by magnificent snow-covered peaks, vast glaciers, and breathtaking alpine scenery, the journey to the summit is an adventure itself. The panoramic views from the top are truly mesmerizing, especially on a clear day when the mountains seem to stretch endlessly into the horizon. Walking through the snowy landscape feels like entering a winter wonderland. The impressive Aletsch Glacier adds even more beauty to the experience. Jungfraujoch is a must-visit destination for travelers who love mountains, snow, photography, and extraordinary natural landscapes.
