Good location, close to the beach and commercial street. The overall layout of the room is good, the only fly in the ointment is that the taste of the room decoration is a bit concentrated. In addition, the hotel is self-service and needs to check in by yourself. Check out. Although there is no safe, the front desk is to be handsome, so it is still very safe.

Martin’s Brugge was perfectly located near the center of everything. After town hopping every day prior to arriving in Bruges, we stayed a couple nights here. I probably had some of the best sleep in their beds. Really liked the location and the beds. We really didn’t have any interaction with staff, easy check in and check out, that’s it. Really all that we could as for. No above and beyond services. Seems like the room had water damage due the shower leaking from the bathroom to the bedroom.
Location and beds would be enough to want to re-book here.

Ibis Styles Brugge Centrum was decent but had notable flaws. No air conditioning due to seasonal changes made rooms uncomfortably warm. No hair dryer was provided unless requested, which was inconvenient. Free tea and coffee were available, but the machine was always out of milk. Friendly staff and good location, but these issues kept it from being great. I’d consider returning if improvements are made.

Degelijk hotelletje. Correcte ontvangst. Kamer leek niet op de foto op Trip, maar het is niet duidelijk of dat aan het hotel lag. Kamer was prima, badkamer was verouderd, maar verder wel in orde. Matras was aan de harde kant en misschien aan vervanging toe. Uitzicht was top.
Al bij al voor een lastminute in hoogseizen prijs/kwaliteit in orde.

This word of mouth is not from Hotel Het Gesterikhof.
When we headed to the hotel, there was a sticker on the door saying, ”We are arranging to stay at another hotel because it is under renovation” (as of early February).
I was surprised because I didn't contact you in advance, but I will arrive in about 10 minutes on foot to another hotel written there.
I was able to stay at an upgraded hotel without any problems and no additional charges, but I wanted you to inform me by email at least.

It was very good, you just go in when you want. Opening times of the bar were not important. Breakfast/in- and check-out just at the main building of Prado itself. If it's 100m away, it's much 😃🤷

AAnne LiekeWe had a nice time at Talbot House. The big plus is the historic value of the place, as we visited the area to learn more about WWI. So amazing to be able to explore the house and talk to the volunteer working here. Other things we liked were the friendly service and breakfast. Also big plus we could bring our dog, staying in the garden house.
With the cold whilst we were there, not having central heating was a bit of a struggle as the aircon is only on during the afternoon/evening and harder to set to a consistent temperature. Also the shared bathroom’s window couldn’t be closed, so absolutely freezing to go to. Last, our room was on the small side and felt a bit cramped especially with our dog. But overall good value for money.

GGuest UserHotel parking should be parked in the open space next to the church entrance, and at most, it can be parked for 9 hours. It is impossible to pay the parking fee beyond the time. We did not drive the car in time and received a ticket of 25 euros. The hotel is in the city center and the location is very good.

GGuest UserWhat an amazing little hotel! Perfect location right in the middle of everything. We booked the budget canal room and the view was beautiful. We really enjoyed people watching (the bridge) and the sparkly water reflecting from the lights. Really clean and spacious. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Definitely stay here!!

GGuest UserGreat location close to the centre but away from the noise. Front desk were friendly and I was able to store my bicycle, although a shame you have to pay extra for this. Bed was comfy and room has needed amenities. Breakfast options were a bit limited but well stocked considering how busy it got. I would stay here again if revisiting Bruges.

Spacious but rococo room equipped with all amenities (Air conditioning, bathrooms, etc.)
Hearty, varied continental breakfast in a magnificent setting (old cellar with 14th century vaulted ceilings).
In short, more than positive value for money.

GGuest UserFantastic hotel! I stayed here for a business trip back in 2007, and returning in 2026, it feels just as welcoming. The hotel facilities are great, the environment is clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff are incredibly warm and patient. The restaurant is excellent, and the bedding is wonderfully comfortable! Definitely recommend!

GGuest UserThe receptionist asked me for a deposit of 100eur for the room and mixed up 2 numbers on my card and told me that I could not access the room without a deposit. I lost 20 minutes before she realized her mistake. The hotel is acceptable but not exceptional. It is the minimum, ideal for one night but no more!
