3-Star Hotels in Gansu, China

I always stay at this hotel whenever I have a layover in Lanzhou. The free transit accommodation is never available, so I have to book a room. No matter how late I arrive, they're always there to pick me up, and the airport drop-off service is great too. It's very clean and the rooms are spacious.

The location is inside Tianshui Ancient City, a bit hard to find. Breakfast is a collaboration with the shop next door, only available from 8 AM, which is different from the information provided here. The room's screen mirroring works fine, but there are constant ads… The room doesn't have a key; it has a combination lock, so you don't have to worry about only having one card for two people. The front desk provides many free small items that you can use. The downsides are that if you stay on the first floor, you'll hear noise from outside, and if no one is at the front desk during check-in, you'll have to wait.

The hotel is conveniently located, the room was clean, and the front desk staff were very helpful. My luggage broke during my stay, and the front desk went above and beyond to help me fix it, ensuring I made my train just before departure.

Overall, it is quite satisfactory and will not step on thunder. Breakfast is enough, not very rich, breakfast is starting at 7:30, not very friendly to people who have to catch the trip early in the morning. Traveling to Jiayuguan by car, this hotel is located in the city center with plenty of parking. It's about 2 kilometers from Fuqiang Market to the north. The room is spacious and very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with a separate wet and dry area. The only minor drawback is that my first-floor room was a bit far from the water tank, so I had to let the hot water run for a little while. Overall, I recommend it, especially given the great off-season price.

I booked a basic room, and luckily, there were still rooms available that day, so the butler upgraded me. The tent is really picturesque for photos. The good mood I got upon entering the room compelled me to write a review about the butler! Before check-in, the butler proactively contacted me, informing me that the room included one fixed-point airport transfer. They also told me about the weather, helped me plan my itinerary and offered travel advice, and even recommended Dunhuang Print Shop for a visit. During my stay, the butler always responded instantly (except when they were picking up/dropping off guests, which I totally understand if replies were a bit slower). Even when I returned very late at night, a butler was still there. The front desk also left a phone number. I talk a lot and can be long-winded, haha, but they patiently answered all my questions. Huge thanks to the Shazhou Wild Luxury Camp butler team for making a solo female traveler feel so welcome and cared for. I will definitely be back next summer. The environment in the store is clean and refreshing, the decoration is simple and atmospheric, and it looks particularly comfortable. The front desk staff was gentle and polite, the check-in speed was very fast, and the service was particularly intimate. The room was spacious and bright, cleaned up, the bedding was soft and sleepy, the soundproofing was good, and the rest was not disturbed. The daily necessities are complete, the quality of toiletries is also good, and the living is warm and comfortable. It is convenient to eat, drink and play around, the price is directly full, the accommodation experience is full, this is the first choice for travel accommodation, I really recommend it to friends who come to Lanzhou!
