SSammy 469891I stayed at the Rambler Oasis Hotel at 1 Tsing Yi Road for work. The hotel is next to Rambler Crest in Tsing Yi. It's quite convenient to get to: from Kwai Fong MTR Station Exit A, you can take the 88G green minibus directly to Rambler Crest, and then it's about a 3-minute walk to the hotel. Next to the hotel are the Rambler Garden Hotel and the HKIA Flight Transit Centre. The hotel faces Container Terminal 9 in Tsing Yi and the Rambler Channel, offering pleasant views. The reception is on the ground floor (L5) lobby. Check-in was straightforward, and since no deposit was required, both check-in and check-out were very convenient! I was assigned a room on the 30th floor, the highest floor, and the room offered an expansive, refreshing view. While the room wasn't huge, the basic amenities were complete. The TV only showed local basic channels, with no cable or satellite TV available. However, given the reasonable price, it offers great value for money!

GGuest UserThe location is superb, with plenty of food and shops right downstairs. There's even a cha chaan teng (Hong Kong-style cafe) nearby that always has a long queue of locals. Due to time constraints this trip, I only tried their milk tea, which was absolutely amazing! 👍🏻 It's also about a five-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR station. The front desk staff were very friendly and even clearly wrote down the shortcut to the room. The room itself was very tiny, and the facilities were quite disappointing, to say the least! It's basically a renovated old Hong Kong tenement building, so it's best not to have high expectations, haha.

GGuest UserI stayed for three consecutive days during my vacation and felt completely refreshed. The housekeeping staff cleaned the room quickly and efficiently, and the engineering team responded promptly to issues. This was my sixth time staying at Rambler Oasis Hotel, and it's definitely a good value – not the best, but certainly not the worst.

AAnonymous UserThis stay at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong's Deluxe Twin Room was excellent. The room was clean and tidy, and for Hong Kong standards, quite spacious. The beds were comfortable. Although it wasn't a newly renovated room, it didn't impact the stay at all. The most pleasant surprise was the hotel's location. It's incredibly convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I especially want to commend Michael, the Sales Director. He was enthusiastic and polite, actively helping me resolve issues and providing practical dining recommendations. He also thoroughly explained all the discounts available with the hotel room key card, which was very thoughtful. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with excellent service. Next time, I'll definitely try one of their newly renovated signature rooms, looking forward to an even more upgraded experience. Five stars!

HHamishidirangThe room was comfortable and clean, and the bedding was spotless. If you're not used to disposable towels, you can bring your own. It was perfectly fine for one person. The air conditioning and ventilation system worked great, so it never felt stuffy. All in all, for Hong Kong's high prices, under 500 a night on a weekend with a private bathroom, clean and tidy, this place offers incredibly good value for money. The location is super convenient – you can see Haiphong Mansion right after exiting the MTR station. The front desk uncle and the younger guy were both very friendly and helped with any requests. Before I left, they even helped arrange a luxurious and comfortable large business car to take me to the airport. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserFinding the perfect place to stay in the heart of Hong Kong can often feel like a gamble, but **Hygge Residence on Nathan Road** is a genuine jackpot. If you are looking for that elusive balance between the electric energy of Tsim Sha Tsui and a peaceful, stylish sanctuary to retreat to at night, look no further. This isn’t just a guest house or a standard hotel; it is a meticulously curated experience that lives up to its name by bringing a sense of Scandinavian ”hygge”—comfort, coziness, and well-being—to one of the busiest streets in the world. ### The Location: Unbeatable Convenience Located directly on Nathan Road, the ”Golden Mile,” you are quite literally at the center of the action. The **Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station** is just steps away, making the entire city accessible within minutes. You are within walking distance of the Victoria Harbour waterfront, the Star Ferry, and luxury shopping at Harbour City. Despite being in the middle of this urban whirlwind, the moment you step inside the residence, the noise of the city completely vanishes. The soundproofing is world-class, which is a rare and precious find in Hong Kong’s high-density environment. ### The Aesthetic and Comfort The interior design is where Hygge Residence truly shines. Unlike the cramped, dated rooms often found in this district, these units are: * **Modern and Minimalist:** Clean lines, light wood accents, and warm lighting. * **Impeccably Clean:** You can tell the management takes hygiene seriously. The linens are crisp, and the bathrooms are spotless. * **Thoughtfully Equipped:** Every square inch is utilized efficiently. From high-speed Wi-Fi that actually stays high-speed to the premium toiletries, no detail has been overlooked. ### The ”Hygge” Factor What sets this place apart is the atmosphere. There is a tangible sense of calm. After a long day of navigating the humid streets or attending business meetings, coming back here feels like a deep exhale. The bed is incredibly comfortable—the kind of mattress that makes it difficult to wake up in the morning. ### Exceptional Service The staff deserves a special mention. The check-in process is seamless, often involving smart-lock technology that makes coming and going a breeze. They are responsive, helpful, and genuinely care about your stay. It’s that boutique level of attention that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just a room number. ### Final Verdict For the solo traveler, the digital nomad, or the couple looking for a chic urban getaway, Hygge Residence is a 10/10. It offers a premium, boutique feel without the eye-watering price tag of the five-star giants nearby. It is a masterclass in how to do urban hospitality right. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Hong Kong. If you see an opening, **book it immediately**—places this good don’t stay vacant for long!

WWWinGGChuiAlthough this was my second stay, the experience this time was far from as good as the first (perhaps due to the room type). I stayed in room 303, which the front desk said was a larger room. However, it was designed for disabled guests, so the faucets and sink were extremely low! It was very inconvenient to wash up (even though I'm short). The room also had serious mold issues, as you can see in image three. It's quite hot in Hong Kong right now, but the hot water pressure was very low! I nearly caught a cold showering because it was so chilly! The location is undeniably fantastic, with plenty of food, drink, and shopping options nearby.

GGuest UserI was so busy I forgot to take photos, so I'll just talk about it. Firstly, the location is excellent. Secondly, the staff's service attitude is wonderful. During the day, there's a young man, and at night, there's a foreign young woman. The young man always greets you with a smile and speaks softly, as if he's afraid you might feel discriminated against. The foreign young woman is a bit introverted. When I saw her in the evening returning to the hotel, she wanted to say hello but didn't speak Chinese, so she just nodded at me from behind the counter. That evening, while I was showering in the hotel, someone knocked on the door. I thought it was the room next door, so I leisurely continued showering for over 10 minutes. Afterwards, when I finished showering, I realized the knocking hadn't stopped. I said 'wait,' and the knocking immediately stopped. I put on my clothes and opened the door. The young woman then nodded and asked, 'Are you speak English?' I actually know a little, but instinctively I said 'no' 😂. She then said 'wait' and handed me her phone. I thought she wanted me to look at a translation, but it was actually a call, most likely from the boss, who apologized and explained that there was a problem with the room today. Honestly, I had noticed it but wasn't too bothered, but their meticulous attitude was really impressive. After the call, the young woman nodded, said 'tks,' and left. She had waited at my door for over ten minutes just to explain this. The boss is very diligent, and the entire hotel definitely follows their excellent example, not cutting corners with customers. Another day, the young man was looking after the hotel. As soon as he saw me, he immediately apologized for yesterday's issue and even gave me a small gift as compensation. This shows that the staff remember their guests, and I didn't feel even a little bit mistreated during my entire stay. So, if you're shy, go for it! The old man who watches over the downstairs area is also very nice. If he sees you're from out of town, he'll keep an eye on you – not because he's worried you'll do something wrong, but because he's afraid you might need directions, and he's watching so you can ask him (this is my own imagination 😂). Because when I asked him, he even helped me press the elevator button and told me where to go. The hotel might be a bit hard to find for mainland Chinese. Make sure you look for the entrance between 53 and 55, then go in, otherwise you might go to the wrong place – don't ask me how I know. Thumbs up to all the staff, and thumbs up to the boss's hospitality. I hope the hotel keeps up the good work. I'll definitely come back to Hong Kong, but it's been raining a lot recently, so I only stayed for one day. If you don't like small rooms or expensive prices, don't stay here. If you're afraid of being mistreated or dealing with hassle, then stay here without hesitation. One last thing, if you have an issue, email them, the phone might not connect, and don't ask me how I know that either. They respond to emails very quickly! Also, boss, give that young man and young woman a raise, and if you really do, tell me, and I'll come back to stay again! 🤪

MMaogoushuangquandexiaoguniangFirst off, if you're taller than 175cm, I'd recommend staying elsewhere – the bed is too short. **Facilities:** The facilities are quite old, but they have everything you need. The wallpaper is even taped up. I really wish they'd get rid of the bedding that looks like the one in picture four. I brought my own disposable duvet cover and sprayed it with disinfectant, but I still felt itchy, which never happens at other places. Plus, the bed is too short; I'm 174cm tall. Realistically, no one sleeps with their head completely at the headboard; it's always centered on the pillow. My feet were practically at the edge of the bed, sometimes even dangling off. And the mattress is so uncomfortable; after the first night, my entire back hurt, it felt like I hadn't slept at all, and I was so tired. **Hygiene:** The hygiene is actually okay, considering the price. In fact, the lobby on the first floor is much nicer than the rooms; seeing the lobby, I didn't expect the rooms to be so run-down. **Environment:** It's located inside a wet market, so it feels chaotic when you step out. There's also a strong smell from the meat stalls. However, since I was on a higher floor, I didn't really hear it once I was back in the hotel. **Service:** Check-in was alright. It wasn't as good an experience as checking into other hotels. Even though it's close to the subway and convenient for getting around, I probably won't choose this hotel again. During the off-season, I've stayed in much more comfortable places for the same price.
