عبدالله السفريGreat for families, everything is close by and it's very quiet – no car horns or anything. You'll need a car though. There's a supermarket and a laundry service nearby. If you order by phone, they'll deliver right to the hotel, which is convenient. The only thing missing is a small rug or carpet in the room, as it's all tiled.

Guest UserI was so happy that they handled my late-night arrival so well. I was hoping to enjoy the cleanliness, which was unlike anything I'd seen in Egypt, but the one I'm currently dealing with... It's been a week since I bought it! Ever since I bought it, there's been something that's been bothering me.

Guest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the Chinese Ambassador's residence and across from an international school, placing it in Cairo's affluent district. The room was clean and tidy, though a bit small. The breakfast was plentiful. Google Maps shows that a home decor store called Madu is just a ten-minute walk away. There are also soldiers stationed near the hotel, making it feel very safe. Highly recommend!

Guest UserI must admit I hesitated when booking this hotel for my father and me: it is fairly new and there were still only a few reviews online. We were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff and the quality of the accommodation.
Our room 1204 was spacious, nicely decorated, and spotless. The bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom was fully functional.
The hotel is ideally located in the El Hussein and Al-Azhar area, just a few meters from Khan el-Khalili and Al-Muizz Street (a true open-air museum). In addition, within a 15–20 minute Uber ride, you can easily reach many other points of interest. And even though the neighborhood is very lively, El Rashedy Hotel is tucked away in a small side street, away from the noise.
We had initially planned to stay from November 17 to 22 and then finish our trip at another hotel in Zamalek, but we loved this place so much that we extended our stay until November 26.
A big thank you to the entire team—reception, management, and housekeeping—for their warm welcome, availability, and valuable advice.

Guest UserThe service was exceptional! Our flight schedule was a bit awkward, so we needed to stay from 9 AM to 9 PM. After discussing it with the front desk, the friendly guy there agreed to swap our breakfast from the next day to that morning. Plus, we were able to check in as soon as the room was ready, instead of waiting until 2 PM. The breakfast was plentiful and had a great Egyptian touch. I picked up an orange, and the chef even came over to slice it for me – so thoughtful! The room door was a double door, the air conditioning was a lifesaver, and they even provided iced water. After dinner, we went downstairs and surprisingly, our room was already ready! We got into our room by just after 9 AM. Awesome!

Surprisingly, my apartments were with two bedrooms and a living room that I didn't expect. Good surprise. All clean, staff friendly, there are laundry services. I'll come back again when I'm in Cairo again. Recommendation for owner: Add to the fans, batteries to all the remotes and more towels.

I stayed at this hotel again after returning from Hurghada, mainly because of its convenience. The receptionist was as welcoming as ever, and his ”welcome back” was just right. A very handsome young man at the front desk also showed me to my room. I booked a single room, which was a bit small and cramped, but it had a private bathroom for easy showering. I tried the Lebanese and Egyptian restaurants near the hotel, both of which were quite good.

Guest UserFacilities: All the facilities look brand new.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Environment: It's very quiet at night, with no noise since it's not facing the street.
Service: The service attitude was excellent. They proactively helped with our luggage. One evening, a friend needed to go out and print something, and even though it was late, the hotel front desk actively helped contact a store that was still open and even covered the cost. They went above and beyond without asking for a tip (we voluntarily gave one in the end).
I stayed at another hotel in Cairo with a similar price, but the room size and overall feel were incomparable. This place is much better; the rooms are super spacious and look very new and clean.

XINLAN1. The location is good, within walking distance to the Egyptian Museum, subway, and kazaz, which is a 1.3km walk from gobus tahir station, which is very downtown.
2. The hotel has an elevator, which is very rare. I have stayed in a nearby hotel which is also located in an old house. There is no elevator and I need to carry my luggage. The elevator is not big enough to accommodate about 4 people (without luggage), but it is much better than climbing stairs by yourself.
3. There is one triple room and one double room. The triple room is quite spacious and the standard room is not large enough.
4. There is no hot water kettle or hair dryer in the room, you can ask for it at the front desk, but the number of these two items in the entire hotel is limited, so I waited for a long time...
5. It’s more cost-effective to pay in US dollars than in Egyptian pounds. The exchange rate for paying Egyptian pounds is not so good.
6. Breakfast starts at 8:00. If you want to go to the Black and White Desert, the driver usually picks up at 7:30. If you don’t have time to eat breakfast, you can go to the rooftop restaurant to pack some (the restaurant is still preparing breakfast at 7:30, and the things that can be packed are limited. Eggs, bread, flatbread, jam, that’s all)
