3-Star Hotels in Centre-Val de Loire, France

It’s a cute little cottage house about 20minutes away from the Amboise train station. It was a tad far when I had to bring along a big suitcase and handcarry bag. I stayed at the rose room. It was quite comfy and I liked the bathroom with shower and bathtub too. There’s no TV or electric fan but I didn’t need those anyway. Breakfast was simple but lovely. Sound proofing might be a slight issue since it’s an old house, could hear people closing doors, walking up and down the steps which’d make the wooden floor boards creak l. The other negative bit is that there are small flies, bugs, spiders, spiderwebs in the room. Since there are flowers and plants in the little front garden too, I’d assume that it’s unavoidable that there’d be bugs and insects in the house. Unfortunately, I woke up in the middle of my sleep with my eye feeling a little strange: like i couldn’t open my left eye fully and skin around eye felt tight and stretched. When i looked into the mirror there’s a a massive swollen bump of around 1.5 inches wide. I don’t know whether a mosquito or a spider bit me, and I was probably allergic to it too. They did not have any cream, ointment, insect repellent, so it’d probably be a good idea to bring one if you decide to stay here.

Surprise stay Yes, this accommodation really surprised us.  The room and bathroom was larger as expected and spotless clean.  Bed comfortably and we had a good night sleep.  Breaky included….Yes. All selfservice with fresh baguette and croissants  More then we have expected since we normally never order breakfast  The care taker was also very friendly and helpful  Finally got a road side car park spot infront of the door for 5 euro till 9:00am next morning  All in all we would highly recommend this place and the price was reasonable good for what is delivered

The lady at the reception is very kind, very friendly, and listening. Perfect location with tram and bus for a pedestrian traveler like me is a more. The room is nickel, the work is very well done.

This hotel is beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely luxurious and very comfortable. There is a lift to access the rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is free car park just behind the hotel, which we found easily. The area feels very safe. You can also pull up outside the hotel on the parking bays, and the hotel will provide you with a free permit for 2 hours so you can unload your baggage and settle in before parking your car in the carpark. The hotel is just a short walk from the beautiful river setting, bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately for me, I have travelled when it was super hot outside and the air-conditioning was not working at all. The hotel had no solution for me, other than to give me a fan that was ventilating the hot air from the room. I have requested to change the room, but they claim that it was fully booked. I would have left somewhere else but it was already late in the evening and I was tired from the road.

Effortless check in by a receptionist who spoke good english. Informed that restaurant closed for a private function. No problem as loads of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Good sized room with very comfy bed. The breakfsst was outstanding, so much to choose and good quality. Considering that the breakfast was included in the room rate. this hotel is superb value. We will not hesitate to return.

The hotel is on the edge of the town of Borova, follow the google navigation, the car drove to the small street on the right side of the hotel, the garage entrance, couldn't find the front desk, called the front desk, said that the front desk was someone. I parked the car next to the open-air public parking lot, dragged the suitcase to the right street, turned left, and immediately saw the front desk of the hotel gate. It was really inconspicuous. It was a sign of a hotel. The family room is good, clean, convenient, breakfast is good, quite satisfactory. From the hotel to the center of the town, first pass the famous Borois Castle and the street garden. The town at dusk is quiet, and several small streets by the river are restaurants, which are very lively. In general, the price of this hotel is very good. The price of Trip.com is also very nice

The hotel is an 8-minute walk from Tours train station and is easy to find. The hotel front desk is closed from 12:00 to 3:00 pm, supposedly due to lack of staff. As an apartment hotel, the facilities are fully equipped, including induction cooker, microwave, and tableware. Breakfast is 12 euros per person, with few varieties, a bit not worth it. It is recommended to eat at McDonald's next to the train station. Free parking is available on the roadside (if you are lucky and there is an empty parking space). Tours Cathedral is very nice, less than 20 minutes walk away.

Mon compagnon et moi avons aimé notre séjour dans ce Residhome qui est très bien placé pas loin du centre , la cathédrale et les restaurants. La propreté est irréprochable très important pour nous 😀. Le lit est confortable on y dort bien .le personnel est sympathique et nous a donné des conseils utiles pour visiter la ville . Le monsieur qui était là au moment du check out était très sympa tique et professionnel , il nous a donné envie de revenir en nous parlant de la fête de la lumière qui va avoir lieu en février ou mars 2024 . Nous le remercions au passage ☺️ Nous le recommandons et séjournerons là bas sans hésitation si nous retournons à Chartres un jour .
