it was a good experience in south gate residency. The room was neat. And the AC was perfectly working without any technical issues. Also, the main advantage of booking that hotel is they accepting food delivery in their hotel, and when we ordered the food, we don't have disposable plates with us. They provided me the plates for us.
I treated this as a good customer service when we have any issue or we have any confused situations, they help us with a good intention.

A well kept property with great ambience and the best service. The hotel staffs were so helpful. One of the best options to consider in Cochin. The hotel includes all the needed amenities and services and the location is easily accessible. The rooms were so good and clean. Overall the stay at this hotel was very pleasant and comfortable.

The stay at ginger was excellent and supporting staff were polite, interacted and helpful in guiding me through timely responsive action for attending the workshop nearby, though i reached late night there were no delay in allotment of room, which are near, hygienic and well maintained. The breakfast, dinner served is good, authentic, traditional and affordable. Especially, the manager abhilash sir is knowledgeable, positive response, patience enough and good guiding manager to the guests. So, i sincerely recommend ginger trivandrum for families and everyone for their stay.

Very friendly and friendly staff as is the owner. This family property is close to the airport but without the nuisance or noise. This is very quiet. Large terrace and bright and very clean room. It's well furnished. The bedding is excellent. The air conditioning is modern. Everything is new. Beautiful bathroom and large, well furnished bedroom. Breakfast is good. The cook is very friendly. We will come back.

But that too need to be ready for electricity Cuts very frequently…
And already there have many staff was talking near the front desk.. I was very disturbed since I was staying 1st floor.. food definitely you have to travel out to get .. otherwise Saravana bavan walking distance .. luckily there have front desk staff was helping me to order food .. very thankful for her ..

one night from 10.30 pm to 10 am we stayed there . i booked unknowingly non Ac but later on i converted from non ac to ac and charged extra Rs.800 which was too much ..Food we ordered from out side which good but they did not provide spoon . Very small rooms as we can not turn one side to another area in room and bath room also tiny . Staff was very excellent night shift person was so very nice no doubt . Now again after visit another places and my home again i booked for one day stay in other hotel not in this . Loation is in village side nearby airport . cleaning of the room and toilet was good. overall i give average and will never stay again in this property .

Right from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The welcome drink was a refreshing touch, setting the tone for a pleasant stay. The reception team was efficient and courteous, handling check-in smoothly and ensuring we had all the necessary details about our stay. A special mention to the bellboys, who were extremely helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Their attentiveness made a great impression.
The hotel’s location is a big plus. It is conveniently situated, making it easy to get around the city, whether for sightseeing, shopping, or business. The accessibility and surroundings added to the overall positive experience.
While we truly appreciated the service, there were a few areas that could be improved. The restaurant at the bottom of the hotel didn’t offer much variety in terms of food options, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been great to have more choices, especially for those staying longer. The rooms did not have kettles, which is something many travellers look forward to for a quick cup of tea or coffee. Bathing cubes (shower enclosures) were missing, making the bathroom experience a little less convenient. We also faced an issue with towels not being provided even after requesting them, which was a small letdown.
That being said, the staff’s dedication and the overall comfort of the stay overshadowed these minor inconveniences. Their attentiveness, polite behaviour, and willingness to help made all the difference. Despite a few missing amenities, the hospitality and prime location make Prayana Hotel a great choice for travellers. We appreciate the warmth and care shown to us and would definitely consider staying again in the future!

The beach is very comfortable for swimming.
The hotel is really very quite, there are really no noisy places around.
It is possible to have lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant.

AAustin KitHotel Arches is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Fort Kochi. Fantastic location near a lot of tourist attractions, shopping and cafes. Kerala Cafe is literally next door. The staff are very kind and helpful. Checkin was quick and easy. The room is basic but very clean. Bed was firm, lots of pillows and comfortable. Room faced the street but was pretty quiet and had no trouble sleeping. Aircon worked well and the room was stocked with water. No wash cloths which could be added as well as a safety deposit box…didn’t see one but also didn’t ask so it could have been there. Hotel felt very safe even as a solo woman traveler. I would definitely stay there again.

GGavinAngOverall, I am happy to stay here throughout this one week simply because all the staff are super friendly. Greetings to me every day and smile all the time.
Only some personal comments regarding the hotel access card, no disturb/ clean my room card are not 5 star hotel standard.
Most importantly is the hygiene issues need some effort or improvement. The drinking water cap is dirty, the cup is dirty, the wall gets mouldy, etc.
Most of the food in the restaurant is not available. Advice to simplify the menu.
Gym facilities are old, some already spoiled and not fixing yet. No towel provided.

I had some issues with my room and the ***ager quickly resolved it by setting me up in another room that was above the category I booked. The staff were helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. My room was clean and well-kept, which I appreciated. The hotel's location is surrounded by ***y restaurants and just a short walk from the beach. It's a great choice for anyone visiting Kochi. Recommended for its convenience and hospitality.
