Staff was friendly.
i paid for the breakfast - got a bag of food including a drink, a bread, an apple, a small box of granola and jam, and a yogurt and a free access to coffee machine - nothing fancy but good enough to feel full and energised.
i was pleased to be able to choose the room type (upper beds or lower beds).
i particularly enjoyed using the kitchen and the common area as the design was so nice and well-equipped. i was able to make my own meal there.
Highly recommended!
First time getting catfished on Trip.com. We were a family of three, and the one-bedroom only had a small bed (I get that small beds are a Nordic thing, so I'll let that slide), a small table, a small hob, and a wardrobe. But there was absolutely no sofa. At most, it could fit two people.
Very clean place far away from the city centre.
The beds have no curtains but they are provided with a little lamp and a plug. Several toilets available and a short front desk opening times. I had left my luggage in the morning and the reception was locked since 4pm so I needed to dial from a foreign nr so I could collect my luggage. The staff was very kind but I would have appreciated more information on closing times.
A very convenient hostel for one night if you go to the airport next morning. No supermarkets, bars, transport in the area. The central bus station is 12-15' walk, when it's not too snowed.
I stayed at the City Center Hotel in Reykjavik and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect: right in the city center, within walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. Ideal for exploring Reykjavik on foot.
The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Despite being in a central location, the soundproofing was very good, making it easy to rest.
The staff was very friendly and always willing to help with recommendations or any needs that arose. I would also highlight the breakfast, varied and tasty, perfect for starting the day with energy.
The hotel is in a fantastic spot, right in the heart of Reykjavik's old town. You can easily walk everywhere from here, and the surrounding area is quite peaceful too. It's also great that there's a large parking lot behind the hotel.
I didn't have high expectations because of the low Ctrip rating, but the actual experience was great. Especially after changing hotels, which required additional ID and tax payments (which was very inconvenient), they upgraded my room for free with a balcony, which was very nice.
The hotel is located in the center heart, just next to the rainbow road and surrounded by bars and restaurants.
10-minute walk to the nearest by supermarket, Bonus and very near to the Airport transfer bus stop number 14 and tourist bus stop number 6.
Breakfast is offered to all hotel guests. Just one reminder there are a few steps before you reach the lift of the hotel and the reception is on the second floor.
It's great, except that the bathroom is small and there is no toilet paper. But you can see the church as soon as you open the curtains. If you are lucky, you can lie down and watch the aurora and the church together, so I highly recommend it.
The location of the hotel is good, close to the church and Fly bus station, about ten minutes' walk.
The kettle in the hotel was broken, so I had to boil water in a pot to make noodles.
There is no reception staff at the hotel. There is a notice posted on the door. You need to call the hotel to get the password to open the door and then take the room key to check in on your own.

Good location, great stay with kitchen and microwave. You can cook everytime you need
Hotel Muli provides a clean, modern, and welcoming stay that stands out for its exceptional service and quality amenities. Based on a two-night stay, this hotel is a superb option for travelers prioritizing comfort and value slightly outside the immediate city center. Highlights & Service The staff's attention to detail was a defining feature. Following an advance notification, the hotel upgraded our room and decorated it with ”Happy Birthday” balloons and a complimentary bottle of non-alcoholic fizz—an incredibly generous and much-appreciated gesture that demonstrated top-tier customer care. Comfort and Amenities The rooms are consistently clean and modern. A practical benefit is the availability of free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in the reception area, which is perfect for warming up after a day of exploring Iceland. Food Experience The breakfast is superb. It offers high-quality ingredients, great variety, and is clearly set up to cater to all dietary needs, complemented by genuinely great coffee. Location and Verdict The location is ideal—it’s friendly staff are helpful, and it’s not too far to walk to the main town area, balancing accessibility with a slightly quieter setting. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Even saw whales in the bay, amazing!
I love the service, especially allowing early check-in or storing luggage so I may freely explore the city. The hotel room was clean and tidy, spacious and very comfortable. I like the breakfasts are included in the price, and would like more variety instead of the same choices every day. Other than that, a good stay for a good price.
friendly staff, the sauna and hot tub were clean and nice。。。。our room was perfect, but if you are picky with drinking water, bring your own to the room。the water from the tab is drinkable, but has a lot of sulfur in it and smells this way。 the breakfast was very good, different coffee, waffles, bread, porridge, fruits,。。。。
The hotel didn't offer many services, as everything was already prepared. The place was simple and clean, with multiple restrooms and bathrooms. 👍 The location was excellent, making it very convenient to get around. There was also a 24-hour coffee machine providing coffee and hot water, and unlimited paper cups. Excellent! 👍👍👍👍👍 Luckily, there was a free breakfast on the last day! 😘
