Best hotel i happened to stay in Japan so far!
Staff is very nice, lobby cafe is cozy and comfortable (and has microwave and water supply), breakfast has many options including daily smoothie (delicious!)
Room is clean, and i was lucky to have a nice view😍
Very close to the station, like 3 min walk
Definitely could recommend it for your stay in Hachinohe
Aside from the inconvenient location, with no direct highway access, everything else was great. Dinner was delicious, though breakfast was a bit simple. The onsen (hot spring) was fantastic, especially the unique 'Golden Hot Spring' by the sea. Soaking in it while watching the sunset was incredibly relaxing. The only downside was the large insects in the indoor hot spring, which scared many women quite a bit.
Although the room is only about 15 m², it does not feel small at all thanks to the smart layout. The room is very tidy and clean, which makes the stay comfortable and relaxing. The price is reasonable for the quality and location. Another great advantage is the convenience of many restaurants and local bars nearby, making it easy to find food and enjoy the local atmosphere.
Overall, it is a good choice for travelers looking for comfort, cleanliness, and value for money 👍
Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel's facilities and service.
The standard room we stayed in was clean and hygienic, but the bed was a bit small. The soundproofing was not okay.
Enjoyed our short stay there. Room was nice, not as cramped as other places we stayed. The only issues we had was finding the hotel and the room was very warm. Not much of a sign out front. We walked right past the entrance. The registration counter is on the third floor, so nothing is visible from the street.
We had to open the window to cool the room down The location was great, halfway between the station and Hirosaki park.
Having the bus stop right across the street was nice to have.
I stayed here to see the Hirosaki cherry blossoms. It's incredibly convenient, only a 5-minute walk to Aomori Station. The hotel has a charming Showa-era vibe, and the breakfast was unexpectedly delicious. Excellent value for money!
They offer complimentary local sake tasting, available to all adults. Kids can have fun with the toys at the nearby children's play area.
We had dinner on the top floor and also enjoyed a plentiful breakfast there, with a delightful view of the distant snow-capped mountains. It was truly a feast for the eyes.
The room was incredibly spacious, and there's an outdoor courtyard for a stroll. The front desk staff were very friendly and even waived the breakfast fee for our child. We're very satisfied!
Dormy Inn chain hotels rarely disappoint me, and this still holds for Hirosaki one. It is close to Hirosaki Castle rather than Hirosaki Station, but the city has a circular bus that runs every 10 min., and the bus stop for the hotel is just across the road, so it’s not a problem for those who arrive by train.
The room is moderate in size by Japan business hotel standard, but it has the added benefits of offering relaxation onsens. As usual, its onsens have both open and indoor pools. This hotel also has cold water pool and sauna. You get free Yakult in the morning, ice pops in the afternoon till late evening. I recommend.
When I was in my hometown, I never had the opportunity to stay in a hotel, but after moving to Tokyo I returned to the prefecture as a tourist,
and the hotel staff were very kind, it was close to Hirosaki Park, and it was a relaxing moment to hear the Tsugaru dialect for the first time in a while.
This is really a great hotel. Staff are all nice, hotel’s facility is also good. Free drink and snacks are available in hotel lounge. Highly recommended to anyone who planned to tour in Aomori!

Amazing
IIrisjgzTraveling from Sendai to Morioka, then Hirosaki, and finally Aomori, I was already a bit 'over' cherry blossoms and wasn't really interested in Yoshitomo Nara's works. So, Aomori itself felt a bit underwhelming for me. The hotel, however, met my expectations. I didn't have breakfast, but I did visit the public bath and enjoyed the ice cream there. The hotel itself is good – clean, well-equipped, and with good service. My only minor complaint is that it's a bit far from the JR station. Also, a 10 AM checkout feels a bit early for the Tohoku region.

DDevI stayed at this place while hiking Michinoku trail. This place is right next to the train station Tanesashi Kaigan. Very clean and well maintained place. The owner lady is very sweet, kind and helpful. This is a fantastic place to stay, no doubt. Dinner and breakfast are sumptuous, with a variety of dishes. It is a short walk to the sea shore as well. I know basic Japanese, and I have lived in Japan before. Therefore it is easier for me to stay in minshukus. However, it is not difficult for foreigners to stay in this place at all. The lady owner is very helpful. I will not hesitate to stay here again when I visit this area. I highly recommend this place.
GGuest UserThe staff were very helpful and the facilities were clean, so I was very satisfied.
When I wanted to order at the hotel restaurant, it was inconvenient to have to call the staff verbally. They weren't always nearby, so

GGuest UserWe stayed at Asamushi Onsen (about 20mins drive from Aomori downtown) as part of our 2025 Spring trip to Aomori area, and booked Tstsumikan Onsen hotel to stay for the night. The hotel location is great. I think all guest rooms come with open ocean view. No private hot spring tub in the guest room but the large gender-specific hot spring pools are open privately to the overnight stay guests from 8PM to the next morning. The stay comes with 2 meals. The food is good and the dinner was served directly in the guest room. The next morning Japanese breakfast was served in the great tatami dinning room, and the breakfast package even comes with free coffee in the gift shop café after the meal. The staff are warm, and the service is good. My recommendation to this hotel come with no hesitation.
GGuest UserThe JR bus from Hachinohe drops you right at the hotel entrance, which is super convenient, especially for independent travelers. In winter, it's best to reserve your spot for 300 JPY (JR Pass East Japan is accepted). The bus makes two 10-minute stops where you can hop off and take photos. The hotel has a charming, vintage feel to it.
Ddreamcatcher68It's best to be prepared for power outages. Public toilets and water rooms are standard features of traditional Japanese B&Bs. The Japanese breakfast is good. Please note that the check-in time is before 9 pm. If you can't arrive, be sure to contact the owner in advance. The B&B is on the mountain, so be careful when driving at night. There are no street lights.
GGuest UserBreakfast and dinner are divided into Japanese and Western styles. Dinner is very ceremonial, especially French food. The hotel is very close to the ski resort and Suantang Hot Spring, and there is a shuttle bus. The restaurant has a good view. It is very pleasant to sit in the warm restaurant, drink hot coffee, and look at the snow outside.
