The hotel is very clean, and although the rooms are small, they are well-arranged. There's a supermarket next door. Breakfast starts quite early, but the variety isn't extensive. It's very close to the station and offers great value for money. Recommended!
The staffs at receptions are super helpful, one helping me reserve a restaurant in Matsusaka. Another lady staff also heled me finding new restaurant on the 2nd night as the one i plan to go was fully occupied, i am really thankful for that.💜 The Aircon is not a centralized type, which is really good during the autumn/winter. The hotel has pilow bar where you can lend pillow of your choice without charge. They also provide icebar at the public bath area. Location is the best
It was a good place to visit Ise Jingu from Futamigoe Rei Shrine.
The coast is right on the side, and the convenience store is also a few minutes walk away.
The bath was able to take a bath until morning, and it was empty since midnight, so I was able to enjoy the rental bath.
It was a pity that the restaurant was closed, but the service was satisfactory.
It is a hotel that I want to stay again.
Stay for one night to visit the Shima Spain Village. The location is a little bit far from the main station. However, the hotel have shuttle bus service and we could arrive the destination smoothly. The room is clean, the free hot spring (onsen) is good, the buffet-style breakfast is not bad, and the staff is very friendly. Overall, it's a nice stay.
Facilities: A very new hotel with complete facilities
Sanitation: Clean and tidy
Environment: The location is very good, just 5-7 minutes walk to the right from Matsusaka Station, convenient for travel; you can hear a small sound of railway trains in the room
Service: It was raining outside when we went out, and we wanted to borrow an umbrella from the staff. The service staff was very enthusiastic
Actually, I wasn't planning to stay at this hotel in the first place... I realized I had forgotten to make a reservation just before I went, so I hurriedly booked and this was the only hotel available. In hindsight, my expectations weren't high at all, but the breakfast was free, the room was spacious and clean, and it was probably newer than the hotel I had originally planned to stay at, and it was spacious and clean. I think God must have guided me to this hotel. It was very close to Ise-shi Station, and I stayed there for three nights, and it was easy to access the surrounding tourist spots such as Ise Shrine, Takihara Shrine, Meoto Iwa, and Kashikojima, so I had a great trip. It was raining on the day we returned, so I bought a plastic umbrella at the hotel and got a sturdy 60cm jump umbrella for ¥320. They were very conscientious until the very end♪ The breakfast smoothie was the best!
I didn't expect to be able to book such an amazing hotel in this rural area at this price. The hotel is OK, but the pillows are a bit high. The room size is also good. The service is also good. The only bad thing is that the hotel parking space is too limited. The lobby is on the third floor, don't worry, it will park in the lobby by itself after entering the elevator. The grilled bird on the second floor is delicious. I recommend trying it.
I made a reservation to go to the Tsu Fireworks Festival.
It was about a 20-minute walk to the fireworks venue,
so it was very convenient!!
It's also nice that there are four types of private baths so you can relax in them.
I'd love to stay here again when I come to Tsu!!
The view was great, and the in-room dining and cleanliness were great.
The room attendant was also very attentive.

GGuest UserAn excellent hotel right on the doorstep of the theme park with direct access. The spa facilities are not tattoo friendly unfortunately and the beds are as hard as a rock otherwise this hotel would have been 5 out of 5 for us. The buffet dinner is amazing.
KKennyDuring my recent stay at Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu, I had a mixed experience, resulting in an overall rating of 3 out of 5. While the hotel was generally acceptable, there were some notable drawbacks.
One major issue I encountered was the cleanliness of the rooms. I was disappointed to find a significant number of insects on the walls, which was quite unpleasant and off-putting. As a result, I had to deduct points and give it a rating of 3 out of 5 for cleanliness.
Additionally, compared to my previous stay at another Hotel R9 location, the price at Yard Tsu was slightly higher. However, it was still within an acceptable range considering the overall quality of the hotel.
Despite the drawbacks, I must mention that the hotel's staff were courteous and attentive, providing decent service throughout my stay.
In conclusion, while Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu has some room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, its reasonable price and satisfactory service make it an acceptable choice for a short stay. However, I would recommend management to address the cleanliness issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.
GGuest UserThe food was delicious and although it was a quiet town, I was able to relax. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.
NNGA CHINGExceptional experience. The room was very nice and surprisingly walking distance from the best restaurant in town called Ofuji, me and my boyfriend accidentally walked in and managed to get seats for two for the first night and totally packed with locals. The locals are super friendly and introduced us dishes to enjoy and we ordered almost everything on the menu. This Ofuji restaurant is 4.6 stars in google review which is the highest score in town! The hotel itself is very clean, room is super spacious with living area, couch and you can connect your own Netflix to enjoy the night.
GGuest UserHe rang a welcome dora on arrival. The room was clean and comfortable. There were so many items for dinner that I couldn't eat, but it was a room so I could have it slowly. The bath was nice with tatami mats.
It was said that the toothbrush was charged, and it was not listed in the details of the hotel, so I thought it would be good to have it listed. Also, it is helpful if only those who want it can choose.
The towels in the room and bath towels were placed in 2 sets, and it was good to be able to use them for two baths at night and in the morning.
The staff also explained politely.
GGuest UserAn old style western hotel but in general clean. The staff very nice and helpful. I asked them to help phone a restaurant make booking. I didn't realize the restaurant did not open yet. The hotel staff tried calling the restaurant a few times but no one answered. Finally, the hotel staff sent the restaurant a message. I didn't request the hotel staff to do so but they did it on their own. Without the hotel message to the restaurant, we would not be able to have a nice osyter buffet. Thanks them very much. If I have to complain, I should say they have to clean the bath room more thoroughly. The toilet and bath room inside the room were just totally renovated a few years but there were already black stains and mould on the wall near the bath tub. Also, there's dust on the hand rail in the toilet.
KKouaizhilouwailouThe hotel is very clean, and although the rooms are small, they are well-arranged. There's a supermarket next door. Breakfast starts quite early, but the variety isn't extensive. It's very close to the station and offers great value for money. Recommended!
PPiggybunIt was during racing weekend and all surrounding hotels are full. This seems to be a lover’s hotel, Karaoke room. Luckily nobody sang 😂. There is no staff at front desk or anywhere. Free coffee and soda machines. Room is very big with a big bed, projector, TV, sofa, big jacuzzi and separate toilet. Because of the size air conditioning is quite insufficient. Free parking and lots of spaces. Location is quite out of the way in the middle of the fields. We thought we were lost looking for it late after dark. There’s dust beneath the bed and under the mattress but I guess most people would not notice. Overall it was a good stay and good value.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location, close to the bus stop, and only a few steps to the beach. They have free shuttle bus from the hotel to Toba station at 9.00 and 10 a.m. The staff are accommodating and some speak some English.
The area is very beautiful and peaceful but very local. If you are planning a trip here make sure you stock up snacks from the convenient stores because there are no 7-11, Lawson, or any Family Mart within walking distance. If you would like to have breakfast and dinner at a hotel please inform them when you make booking or a few days in advance. People are very nice but language can be a barrier.
