The location of this hotel in Toyama was absolutely fantastic! It's right next to JR Toyama Station, just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient for catching the Shinkansen or buses. The surrounding area is packed with shops and restaurants, which was great for exploring and dining. Getting to attractions like Shirakawa-go and Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route was also a breeze. It's a quiet spot despite being in a central location, making it the perfect base for a Hokuriku trip. Plus, it's close to the Glass Museum.
This hotel boasts a super convenient location, just a two-minute walk from Toyama Station, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere. The rooms are spacious, well soundproofed, and spotlessly clean. Although I didn't require daily housekeeping, fresh towels and amenities were thoughtfully left on the doorknob every day. Breakfast included local Toyama specialties, and there's a lounge on the second floor offering complimentary coffee and hot water. The coin laundry on the 5th floor was never busy, and the dryers were very efficient. Be sure to ask the front desk about any train tickets or passes you might need. Toyama offers an abundance of delicious food, and even if you're not planning a hike up Tateyama, exploring the city itself is highly recommended.
Walkable distance from toyama station. Overall the room was clean and friendly staff.
Breakfast was average with croissant, eggs & sausages.
Will suggest to improve on the check in & out time & free cancelation.
I think it's enough to stay at this price!
The containers are separated one by one, so you can spend almost no time facing other groups.
This is about 5 minutes walk from Uozu Station, and there are famous rice shops and supermarkets nearby 💫
The front desk is open until 6-23. There is a frozen lunch box and you can get one per person. There are a little punches such as Maba eggplant, European curry, beef fried rice, etc. to eat in the morning, but the amount and taste are satisfactory ☺️
There are also packs of coffee, Sencha and Earl Gray Tea, and you can get free time when the front desk is open 🍵
Shampoo and treatments don't suit your hair, so if you're concerned, I recommend bringing them.
It seems to be deployed nationwide, so I want to use other places 🍎
Hotel location is really good -opposite department store and very closed to JR station. The center of the town could be reached by walking but hotel staff gave us tram tickets for free. Breakfast is really good. Staff is really nice and some of them speak very good English.
This was my first trip to Toyama, and I did a lot of research before booking a hotel. I ended up choosing the Oarks Canal Park Hotel because of its great value for money. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Toyama Station. You can also easily walk to Canal Park to visit the famous 'most beautiful Starbucks'. The hotel room was quite spacious and very clean. They clean every three days, but daily cleaning can be arranged if requested. If you opt out of daily cleaning, they still provide fresh bath towels, hand towels, and toothbrushes, along with UCC coffee capsules every day. The room had an excellent view; I loved opening the curtains each morning to a different scenery. The only downside was that they only provided a complimentary bottle of drinking water on the first day of my stay. I had to go to a supermarket near the station every day to buy water. Overall, I was satisfied.
I had a wonderful stay at APA Stay Toyama. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near public transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. My room was cozy and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the excellent value for the price. I would definitely choose APA Stay Toyama again on my next trip to the area.
I wanted to go to both Kurobe and Toyama prefectures, so I looked for a hotel in Uozu City in the middle and went here.
It was easy to understand along the main street and was able to check in smoothly
The location, value for money, and friendly staff are all great. However, the room is a bit small. It's so small that I can only sleep in it. I can't even have a beer in the room.
This hotel in Toyama city has an indoor hot spring, and the rooms are very new. The ginkgo trees in the park opposite and along the road outside are beautiful. The traffic is moderate, and it's a 7-minute walk from the tram station. I had a very comfortable stay. The most heartwarming part was the complimentary mini-bar where you could sample wines and coffee.

Great
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel (about 7 min walk to the station) and was a great Ryokan experience as the room was traditional and had a breath-taking view. Futons were sufficiently comfortable - but wished there was the whole Ryokan welcome and fanfare.
Staff was welcoming but did not speak much English though they had papers of English instructions all ready. There was a free shuttle out of the hotel at fixed timings to the nearest Shinkansen (Unazukionsen Station)
Onsen was relaxing and was supplied with good quality products for every aspect of grooming. Lots of vending machines were available, there was a souvenir shop on site though pricey. We just did not enjoy the corridors as it gave out a creepy vibe (due to it being an older establishment), hence, we did not enjoy moving around the hotel). Facilities were beautiful and well preserved.
Food as part of the experience was a good and large helping. We opted for the full seafood experience but it had a lot of sashimi or cured seafood which was not to our own liking (we did not really know what we signed up for, really our fault!) Breakfast was a good spread and really hearty. A lot of traditional and local specialties to experience!
Overall a great stay!
(Shops in the vicinity closes at about 5pm and open at 10am)

CCheylynA bit of walking distance from Toyama station, need to cross roads few times to reach the hotel. The room is small but well equipped. Detergent is not provided FOC if you want to use washing machine, need to go to hotel reception to get one.
GGuest UserThe hotel is next to Toyama Station. It is said to be in Showa style. The decoration is old and you need a key to open the door. The walls of the room are not very clean, but the price is relatively cheap. The quilt does not have a quilt cover, which feels unhygienic.
GGuest UserThis hotel is probably best known for its stunning snow-capped mountain view window at the end of the hallway. Although visibility wasn't great during my stay and I couldn't clearly see the Tateyama Mountain Range, I was still very content to enjoy the snowy views of Toyama.
Several things made my stay enjoyable: 1. Excellent location, just a 3-minute walk from Toyama Station. 2. The room's air conditioning was already on before check-in, which was a welcome warmth on a snowy day. 3. The complimentary breakfast, a staple of Toyoko Inn.
However, since my stay was in early February, for some well-known reasons, there were people with loudspeakers shouting downstairs in front of Toyama Station from morning till night. It was quite disruptive.
GGuest UserHotel is a bit old. Location is good. A big shopping plaza (SunPlaza) just next to the hotel. Hotel provides free parking.
Hotel room is a very old fashion like 90's but the cleaningless is acceptable.
One thing which is unacceptable is the water in the room. The water came out from the shower or from the tap is only hot water. No matter you use cool water tap or hot water tap, only hot water came out. I asked the reception staff, they told me to turn on the water tap for 10 minutes then some room temp water might come out. We had tried and some times it worked but sometimes it didn't. This is the only thing we were not happy.,

GGuest UserEverything was perfect. The staff. The food. My favorite lunch of my whole trip so far The location. The room. Parking. The only surprise was to find out that it was shared toilets. That was not clear on the website. We had the triple room because I wanted the wooden bath which was wonderful. However with no toilet in the room we had to go go down the hallway. There were two toilets for 6 rooms. Luckily there were only two other guests in the hotel to share with.
AAndyStealth place, scenic spot
The accommodation needs to check in by yourself. The key lock also needs to call through Japan to ask for the accommodation password. It is better to have more preparation.
Parking location
5 rooms share 2 large shower rooms, there are wind couples in the shower rooms, and a small hot spring with wind couples on the sea. It is very private and very good.
Accommodation can rent his kitchen or cook with the accommodator
The room is very comfortable
