The hotel located close to the beautiful lake, beach and Main express bus terminal. The Seoraksan National Park (mini) is quite close, you can take a bus from terminal stop and it takes around half and hour to get there.
Room - so spacious, even the bathroom complete with amenities like hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, soap. I feel like it’s one room studio apartment that comes with fridge, washing machine too! Free water bottles that will be replenished everyday.
Service - the front people were so nice.
Other - GS25 is right next to hotel building (or in the building?) it’s literally ‘convenient’.
I’d consider to choose this hotel again when i visit Sokcho some other time :)
I watched the sunrise at the hotel, and the most amazing thing was the breakfast. Although the selection wasn't huge, everything tasted fantastic. I especially loved the mashed potatoes and pumpkin puree. The only downside was that it was a bit cold the day I went, but otherwise, I was very satisfied.
Such a beautiful sea view room!! I really didn't want to leave, and I'll definitely come back if I get the chance next time.
The room was also very clean, and the location was excellent. Downstairs is a coffee street where you can easily find dinner and everything else you need. There are also souvenir shops nearby! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! 👍🏻👍🏻
Near Anmok beach. Bus stop very far. Good thing got 7-11. Regard not taking lunch at bus terminal before coming. Checkin time not flexi came early at noon have to wait till 3pm as stated checkin time. It started to rain very heavily and have to buy food from 7-11 while waiting till 3 pm.
Overall, the condition is clean and there is a lighthouse beach nearby, so it seems like a good place to go.
There is a parking fee, but you can park on the street nearby. I stayed on the 5th floor, and the wall was a view of the construction site, so it was actually nice!
I recommend going outside to see the sky or the sea, and if you are sensitive to noise, wear earplugs and sleep.
I didn't mind the noise from the accommodation itself, but I could hear the construction site noise from 8 in the morning, so it was a little annoying!
And be sure to visit the coffee shop and burger place nearby! They are delicious. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ Have a nice trip! 👍
I stayed here for one night after hiking with friends.
I turned up the heat in the ondol room, so I woke up feeling very dry, but refreshed!
The room was reasonably clean, but the hangers were too high, making it difficult to hang my clothes.
And there was something sticking out, either the door lock battery or the wire, under the door handle.
I booked two rooms, but they assigned me to different floors, which was a bit inconvenient.
The location and service were okay, but the limited on-site parking meant many large cars were parked in the compact car spaces.
Next time I visit Mindungsan, I'll definitely stay here for the affordable price!
The room itself was the same, and I woke up in the morning, pulled the curtains, and enjoyed the view.
Super value for money. No complaints.
Parking is valet with no extra to pay. DIY laundry keeps all clothes dry and cleaned for multiple days of exploration in beautiful Gangneung! Staff recommended good eating places for grilled pork and beef. Don’t miss the gimbaps!
It was a recently built hotel, so it was clean and well-maintained as a lifestyle accommodation. I didn't need to charge my phone, so there was an automatic charger installed, and the refrigerator was large, which was nice. It was a partial ocean view, but I could still see the ocean well. However, another hotel right in front of the hotel blocked the view a lot... We never ate ramen, but there were still residues in the strainer when we poured it in the sink... That felt a little dirty.
There was nothing to order or eat around, so we had to go to Sokcho to eat or buy something. Other than that, I liked everything else.
Because it's a newly built building, all the appliances are brand new.
The room is fully equipped with an induction stove, cooking utensils, a drum washing machine, and a refrigerator (freezer). It's a resort-like experience.
The location is perfect, between Yangyang and Sokcho. The convenience store is located on the first floor, and breakfast is 15,000 won per person.
It's better than wasting time going out to eat.
Even though Seongsu is notorious for the rip-off season in Gangwon-do, we booked here on a fixed rate basis.
We had a wonderful time, from surfing to exploring. I've had many unfortunate experiences while traveling in Gangwon-do, but this accommodation was truly the best.
Location was about a 10minutes bus ride away from gangneung station and the bus terminal, but note that the hotel was a 5 minutes walk away from the bus stop. It's also about a 7 minutes walk to the market so there's plenty of food options.
Room was pretty clean apart from some dust at the seating area around the curtains. As the room is filled with big windows and my room is opposite a mall, it gets pretty hot and no privacy so the curtains have to be closed most of the time so that's a pity.
Service was good and they allowed me to check in early when I reached at 1230pm. Hotel feels safe and secure as the lift needed key access.
Amenities was great as there was toothbrush, conditioner, lotion, scrub, bathrobe, room slippers.
Very Good

Great
The room was clean, the lobby staff was friendly, the ice cream was good, and the free breakfast was great.
Urbanstay Naksan Beach offers an amazing location—right by the ocean with beautiful views and easy access to the beach. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. I booked the suite room expecting something a bit more luxurious, and while it was clean and well-maintained, it didn’t fully match my expectations. The self-check-in process was a bit inconvenient, especially for first-time visitors. I had also requested early check-in, but wasn't clearly informed beforehand that there would be a charge of 10,000 KRW per hour, which would have been helpful to know in advance. Still, the overall experience was good, and I’d recommend it for the location alone—just be sure to clarify details ahead of time.
