• Bad sound proof - Could not sleep well because I could hear whenever other rooms use the toilets and noises from the tapwater and air-con compressor. (Not sure whether it is really AC compressor but really loud.)
It is okay not to provide very good amenities but the cleanliness really needs improvemet.

The location is very good, and the quality of the bed and pillows is comfortable. The air conditioning is strong, and the water pressure in the shower is excellent.
However, there are very limited parking spaces, and the hotel is located at a dead-end road, which makes driving in and out inconvenient.Breakfast was quite average. I asked the staff to cook the eggs more thoroughly, but it took a long time and was not done properly.

Cleanliness room need to improve further which i believe the hotel have done on new painting for all units/areas.
Guests lift available 1x unit..with small capacity...and beware on your vehicles parking which a lot bird spread eapecially on your roof car😁..its like black magic drawer

The front desk service was excellent; they even reminded us about the police issuing parking tickets and to remember to pay for parking. The room was cleaner than expected, and all the restaurants were conveniently within walking distance. Plus, we got a massage discount for staying there! 🤩🤩

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location was convenient, and the facilities were great, making my stay smooth and enjoyable.

Venus Boutique hotel is located near to Few attraction like TamingSari tower,Dataran Pahlawan and Mahkota Parade shopping centre.All is about 5 to 10 minutes walking.so location is very strategic.Beside we can buy ole ole at Ole Ole Melaka.Famous cake house “Nadeje” just behind the hotel.Room is small but with TV,tea and coffee.they do providing bicycles to hand around the melaka city.parking is free too.

Easy parking in front of hotel and is FREE. Pillows need replacement. Easy check-in process even late hour. No 24 hours room service and during my stay the fridge not working. Bed bedsheets need to wash frequently because I saw lot of stain on sheets. Otherwise is okay for us as family to stay.
I check out late and the staff still accepted my request. Overall 3.5/5 ⭐️😊

MMuhd FirdausOur stay at Puteri Bay Melaka was great 👍🏼 The location was great because we are able to have a good view of the beach, and it was near food places. The hotel reception and staff were also kind and helpful. Food selection for breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable and had a good sleep 👍🏼👍🏼
The downside was that the toilet was not totally clean as there were strands of hairs sticking out from under the bed. Additionally, there were no toothbrushes provided in the room, and the prayer mat had an odour.
Generally, the stay was good although maybe staff need to ensure the room cleanliness and smell abit more?
I would still recommend the hotel for the comfortable beds and nice view and location beside the waterfront 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

OOMAR AL-ATTASThe biggest win for this hotel is definitely its location on Jalan Tukang Besi — super close to Jonker Walk and all the tourist hotspots around the area. Location-wise, it’s really great. The only thing is the hotel can be a bit confusing to find because there’s no signage for “Melaka Oracle Bookstore.” On the map and on the building facade, there’s only Chinese writing, so it took me a moment to be sure I was at the right place. I’m also not sure if the owner is Malaysian because they spoke Mandarin, but they can communicate in English, and both the owner and staff were friendly.
Along this lane, you’ll also find a few shops that rent Nyonya kebaya and batik shirts, and Masjid Kampung Kling is just a few meters away. To get to the rooms upstairs, you’ll need an access card, and the room door uses a physical key. The room itself is fairly clean, with a comfortable mattress and pillows. The aircond is cold, there’s a wall fan, a water heater, and free WiFi. There were no drinking glasses in the room, but you can refill water from the filtered water machine outside. They also have a pantry area and a washing machine, though I didn’t see an iron board — probably need to ask the staff. Mosquito coils were provided, but thankfully, there were no mosquitoes in my room.
However, there are a few things that could be improved. There was no blanket provided, which should be basic. I also noticed some plaster bagworms on the ceiling and walls — these should be cleaned because they can bite and leave marks. The toilet paper roll should be new, not a leftover one. The water pressure is quite low, so showering didn’t feel very satisfying. And the leftover mosquito coil ash should be cleaned before a new guest checks in. The toilet could also be cleaned more thoroughly — no stray hairs on the floor and no stains on the bowl.
Overall, the hotel is decent and perfectly okay for a stay. The facilities match the affordable price, and if you’re not as fussy as I am, you’ll probably be fine. There’s also a cute cat mural outside the building. The place has a rustic but charming vibe — definitely has room to improve, but still a pleasant stay.

Location is really convenient — close to attractions and good food. Breakfast was tasty with a nice variety. Overall, a cosy and pleasant place to stay in Melaka.

MmikaroWe had great stay at The Lisbon located at Kampung Portugis, Malacca.
It is beyond what was our request, a relaxing stay with pool for the kids.
At first we tought the hotel was an abandoned place, and no one booked at Trip.Com yet. But thanks to Mimie, one of the Reception Admin, she ensured us that it is a great place to stay. So, we cross finger, booked it right away.
Loved the interior of the buildings, it white, and have floral blue on top. The scenery is quite astounished. Our room are facing the Selat Melaka view.
There are pool for the kids and adult to enjoy with.
For halal food, there is halal restaurant at the nearby stay for you to enjoy Malacca greatest cuisine.
This hotel has lots of potential. You wont regret your stay here, because we fully enjoy our stay.
Shout out to the Lisbon Hotel team that make our stay, a memorable one.

Pros:
- Located at the entrance of Jonker Street, and walking distance to the center of the historical city ... the main advantage
- food outlets are as close as next door, Hard Rock Melaka is just around the corner
- clean room and bathroom
- access into the premise, to the specific floor and to the room by card only
- filtered water (hot and cold) is provided at the ground floor
- good soundproofing between rooms and corridor
- basic amenities are provided, others can be requested
- brief check-in and check:out process
Cons
- no parking is a major disadvantage given if you are traveling with young children or senior citizen. Also it is not easy to find public carparks in this part of the town
- fridge available but takes forever to chill
- noises from the Jonker and loud music from trishaws can be heard ... but not so much of a cons if considering choosing the location for the lively atmosphere. There's always a middle room with no window if one prefers a quiet room

CCxianQuite disappointed as 3 star hotel mentioned . As the room is close to each other so it’s hard to be soundproof . WiFi can’t be used. Children pool still ok. Tv is not that clear for cable channels. And the parking lot is big but unorganised. But it’s near to Portuguese village so it’s okay if wanna spend Christmas vibe here.

Things I feel could be improved:
The Smart TV should be mounted on the wall.
Reason: I stayed with three children aged 3 and below. The TV is too low, and they kept touching the screen. I had to watch them 24/7 to make sure they didn’t touch it.
Hopefully, the owner can provide a microwave instead of a stove.
Reason: It would be easier to reheat food.
The house needs a place to hang wet clothes near the washing machine or balcony area (same level as chair and table).
Reason: It would be convenient for guests to hang their wet clothes.
It would be great if the owner could provide plastic plates and cups.
Reason: They are easier to handle and reduce the risk of breakage.
The Smart TV is quite laggy and slow to respond.
Suggestion: Consider upgrading it (not a top priority).
There should be at least one mirror inside the room.
Reason: It would be especially helpful for women.

The location is great, not far from the main attractions, and the design is truly distinctive and charming. It's such a peaceful retreat, an oasis of calm right in the midst of all the bustle.
