A great place with a fantastic location! There's a superb supermarket right next door that even has a cinema, which is incredibly convenient. Highly recommended! Plus, it offers excellent value for money.
We stayed for 5 full nights and our whole experience was more than great to be honest. All the staff from front office to dining to room and facilities did great except for Anna, a front desk associate who manifested her arrogance when I requested to have our breakfast packed instead. She was very firm in denying the request and offered zero options to the point of even pointing out that the breakfast was complimentary even if we chose to pay extra if we wanted to have breakfast included. She called to apologize after i talked to her supervisor, Joni. The other minor issue is the proximity of the place to the business centers. It was a bit off the business district but it was close to the beach. Other than these, everything was okay. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
This hotel is absolutely amazing for the price. I'll start by saying there's a free airport transfer. You just need to write to the hotel in advance with your flight number and names. The breakfast buffet is incredible. There's a pool and a spa. Everything is very beautiful and clean.
The hotel room is very spacious . The room is perfect .i enjoyed staying at the hotel, the staff and front desk is very accommodating. They are very attentive on what i need.
The hotel is close to SM ,public market and baywalk.
Which is really good.
I wish they have pool so they can maximize the view
I also wish the they have more equipment at the gym.
Overall, this place is great spot. For those who like to explore the city.
The Hotel is 2mins from the departures door of the airport.
Staff service is superb but that’s a standard in the Philippines.
Rooms clean.
The only issue I had was with the wifi in the room which didn’t work and the hotel stuff were not able to fix. Overall in my opinion this hotel is better value for money than others in the same range.
Upon checking in at the reception, the attendant told us that they overlooked out 2nd hotel room booking due to system glitch and busy holiday season which is very understandable. Fortunately, we have booking reference and email confirmation as supporting document. The manager came in and assisted us and negotiated with us to settle the matter and the manager is so thoughtful and considerate to my family we have one Senior citizen and one child. She managed very well and sorted the issue in that very moment. Kudos to the night shift team from 9pm onwards.
Lovely hotel in a lush tropical setting. About 10 minute trike ride to the central city. Nice sized rooms and bathrooms. Very clean and friendly staff. Small but great pool. No Smart TV which would be a bonus on rainy days to watch Netflix otherwise great place to stay for the price.
One of the best hosts we had travelling Asia, he was a legend and very open and honest. We were not at the hotel very often and came and went at very stupid times but they were always accommodating.
This is by far the best beachfront hotel you could ever find in white sand puerto gallera. The rooms are clean and good smelling, the facilities are well maintained, the bed is awesome! Water supply and AC is excellent. And you get the most value of your hard earned money.
Room was clean and comfortable with soap and toothbrush in bathroom, just 10 min walk from bars and restaurants, 20 min walk from airport or 100 peso on taxi bike. The breakfast is OK.
The AC was not working properly in the standard room that also has no window. But was upgraded to the Delux room.

AAnonymous UserGood service. Each room is equipped with a locker. They can let you borrow a lock if you don’t have one. The room I got had 2 bunk beds and. was assigned the lower bunk. Each bunk has its own dedicated lamp, charging space, sleeve where you can place small items, and a drying area for damp towels, etc. They hostel also has a daily room service for cleaning.
Rooms include daily buffet-style breakfast which starts at 6 am. It was sufficient and their eggs and pancake station is never a miss. They have plentiful staff that can assist their guests throughout their stay.
AAnatoliy GernerHot shower, soft bed, polite staff, delicious breakfasts – what more could you need for a relaxing stay in paradise? Nothing at all! ))) Some might not like the rooms that need renovation, and there are many areas on the hotel grounds that could use some TLC, but I guess the management isn't too bothered since the hotel is in demand. Still, they could at least fix the gate leading to the beach.

AAlexey VerbitskyA nice location, but our room on the ground floor was dark and damp, we constantly caught a cold because of the air conditioner, there is no balcony, only access to the mini pool that resembled a mini paddock, it did not work for heating, there is no breakfast here, it's a pity that there was no room for us on the second floor, which affected the vacation in this place we were not satisfied because he is good in the photo but not very good in reality + all these disadvantages that no one wrote about.
Next time, I'll choose a much more comfortable place to vacation.
GGuest UserVanilla Beach, just a ten-minute drive away, is a must-see. The hotel's walking distance to the bazaar, friendly and smiling staff, and spotless rooms were all wonderful. It's definitely a hotel I'd want to stay at again. Don't let the Monday rush when you first arrive or the fact that the hotel is on the 3rd and 4th floors deter you.

GGuest UserThe service staff is very friendly, and the location is very convenient. You can walk to the busiest street in town and the seaside! The twin room we booked is facing the sunset, so it is very convenient to watch the sunset from the room. The room is big, but you just need to pay attention to whether there are mice...
MMark RaymondWe stayed at Microtel by Wyndham Puerto Princesa for just one night, booking five rooms for a quick family staycation. At first, we were a bit skeptical due to some mixed reviews online, but we were pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the experience turned out to be!
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with shell necklaces, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The rooms were spacious and clean, giving us plenty of space to relax. The kids especially enjoyed the pool—while it’s not very large, it was more than enough for them to have fun.
The beachfront is beautiful—perfect for photo ops and water activities, though perhaps not ideal for swimming. Still, it adds a charming touch to the resort’s peaceful ambiance.
A few areas could use some improvement:
• The TVs are a bit outdated—an upgrade to smart TVs would enhance the guest experience.
• The window-type air conditioners, while functional, can be a bit noisy.
• Some furniture and room details could benefit from light touch-ups to maintain a fresher look.
As for the restaurant (operated by a concessioner), the breakfast was decent—nothing fancy, but enough to start the day.
Overall, Microtel Puerto Princesa exceeded our expectations. It’s a great spot for a relaxing and affordable getaway, and with a few upgrades, it could be even better. Would definitely consider staying again!
