3-Star Hotels in Vila Real District, Portugal

A little out of the way. VERY steep climb to the hotel - taxi needed unless you are very fit. Fine walking down. Hotel was spotless couldn't fault it at all. Slight issue with tea & coffee in the room. Couldn't plug kettle in without it being on the floor - could maybe do with a small table near the plug?? Only 1 normal tea bag and 1 fruit t bag for 2 people staying. Had to ask for extra t bags, spoon and milk-wasn't supplied in the room. Breakfast was good-not a massive choice but what was there was very high quality and was replenished regularly. The hotel it self was affiliated with a restaurant in town which we went to twice-amazing food and service. Staff were very helpful-great hotel would definetely recommend and stay again.

Extremely convenient location right in the center of the city. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. And the AIMA was just a block away! Host was responsive and friendly. The property is lovely, very much like a family guest house with a common area including a full kitchen and a beautiful outdoor patio. My room was spacious and clean.

You need your own transport. Location is amazing, staff is super helpful, amenities are great, cleanliness great. They have a kind dog :)

Great stay, beautiful locations, food options limited would have been nice to have a choice each evening vs one set meal.

Super comfortable hotel, excellent friendly service, cool breakfast with fresh fruit! The only minus - the pool works only since June, we didn't know about it.

Hotel with a beautiful air conditioning, a comfortable room and a great breakfast. However, the fact that they do not have several sizes of coat is a fault to correct, which can condition a good night sleep.

Good areas and excellent views but some rooms with little privacy

The hotel is close to the Douro River, next to the famous DOC restaurant, but unfortunately the restaurant we stayed for two days was closed. Service: The hotel waiter was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help us with large luggage. Facilities: The hotel breakfast is very good, the food is rich; the scenery is beautiful, it is too pleasant to eat here. The hotel is generally very cost-effective.

This site transmits peace, if you want to renew the days energy is the ideal place. Taking breakfast with a view of them is to start the day in the best way. Then enjoy the pool, only listen to the birds. I recommend 100%. Ah and still has the sympathy of the officials very approved

Very beautiful and beautiful winery, value for money is highly recommended. Not enough for one night. There is a small town restaurant nearby for 7 minutes. The wine tasting is not interesting, you can participate or not. Breakfast is not bad.
