Review of Hotel Michanti, El Salvador: Positives: The location is fantastic! The hotel is just steps away from an amazing beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf. I highly recommend getting up early to catch the beautiful sunrise. The outdoor decor is nice and inviting, creating a relaxed atmosphere for a chill getaway. Negatives: We arrived late at night (around 10 PM), and the staff member who showed us to our room did not provide any information about the Wi-Fi, where to refill water, or breakfast times—essential details that travelers typically need after a long flight. My husband had to step outside to gather this information on his own. When you arrive at a hotel, you expect a warm welcome and a brief orientation, but instead, the staff member simply walked us to our room, opened the door, and left. Additionally, there was construction scheduled for the following morning, which was mentioned in a message we received the night we checked in. Unfortunately, this resulted in a complete loss of Wi-Fi and electricity for the entire morning. Given the price we paid, I would consider staying elsewhere next time. I really wanted to enjoy my stay, but service is a crucial aspect of any hotel experience. If the staff had been aware of the outages, they could have at least apologized or provided us with some information during check-in. Overall, Hotel Michanti has a great location, and the breakfast was good, though a bit pricey. However, the customer service left something to be desired.

I had a pretty good stay overall. The location is definitely a highlight. Just a few minutes’ walk to the beach and close to all the entertainment spots, which made everything super convenient. I only stayed for two nights, and that was honestly more than enough for what I needed. The room itself was on the smaller side, but since I wasn’t in it much, it didn’t really bother me. It was very clean for the most part, although the shower in the bathroom could’ve used a bit more attention. The AC worked perfectly, and I had no issues connecting to the TV, which was a plus. I did run into a small gecko in the room, but staff handled it quickly, so no big deal there. As for the downsides, I was a bit disappointed that I paid for a room advertised with a courtyard view, but there really wasn’t any view at all. I think the description should be updated to reflect that. Also, my room was supposed to include a mini fridge, but it didn’t, which made the price feel a bit unjustified for what I actually got. On top of that, there were quite a few ants in the room, having some bug spray or ant traps available would’ve definitely helped. Overall, it was a decent stay mainly because of the location, but there are a few things that could be improved to better match the price and expectations. I give this place an 8.5 out of 10 for those that don’t plan to stay in the room for majority of the stay.

This hotel is at the entrance of the Gran Via Shopping Centre, 2 minutes from a cinema and all kinds of shops and restaurants. The airport is 1 hour away. The breakfast is very good and it serves as a restaurant for lunch and dinner. The rooms are relatively small, but very functional. The internet works perfectly. It is a hotel to repeat.

The hotel was under construction, but despite that, the facilities were really poor. It was a shared (tiny) bathroom for 4 rooms. Toiled barely worked and the shower was cold. All that is fine if the price is low, but it was not a cheap hotel. I won't stay here again.

Excellent location, right in the heart of El Tunco Beach. The hotel amenities were really good. Very clean place. Excellent service. I will go again and I recommend it if you want to be in the El Salvador Surf City 1 area.

Great amenities. Excellent breakfast and variety. Access to pools and the beach. Great picture setting. Great attention from employees.

Location, location location!!! Amazing place to stay. Very friendly staff, incredible location. We loved it. Highly recommended.
