Staff at front desk was friendly enough. No parking for hotel specifically, but we parked in the garage right next door. Lots of broken down cars, but thankfully we didn't have any issues. Some strange people wandering around the streets, but that's not anything the hotel can change. Location was good - not too far a walk to Bourbon Street & the French Quarter. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, which had a full kitchen and nice size open area. Our pull-out bed had no mattress on it, so someone had to bring one up. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms, however, one of the bedrooms didn't have a window in it. Did not try the breakfast or use any of the common spaces.

PLEASE BEWARE! I travel for business year round and have for more than 20 years. This is by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The worst part was taking my drivers license, copying it without permission, and not returning the copy when I checked out. I was told it was hotel policy in case of damages. In the morning, I told them I would gladly wait while my room was checked for damages, but insisted on getting it back. They refused. At first saying they did not return these copies, then saying it had been shredded last night. This made no sense. I further insisted on knowing what happened and where the copy was. At this point they threatened to call the police. I was not being confrontational so I was taken aback by this move. That being said, I certainly stayed to discuss it with the authorities. They told the officers the copy had been shredded. I did not believe this but agreed to leave. This was the most combative situation I’ve ever been confronted with at an IHG property. I’m a Diamond Elite with them and very loyal. However, this is making me consider changing hotel brands. Please understand, I do not want to be critical. I’ve never written a negative hotel review, but this is too much, too far. I have filed an official complaint with IHG, have a case number, and waiting to hear back.

If you want the experience of staying in the French Quarter and being a hop and a skip from Bourbon Street, then this is your place. Check in was a breeze, Mikey at the front desk displayed nothing but great customer service, along with Larry throughout our stay. Our room was exactly like the photos on Expedia. We had dinner at the Bombay Club the first night and the food was delish! However, if you do not want to take Bourbon Street to bed with you, this may not be your place..lol. We heard the partying, car horns blowing, trap music playing (love trap music) not to mention our room was right by the elevator and our twelve year old was with us (She thought she was going to partying too..lol) I always want the experience that I read about and see from traveling television shows, etc. Got the experience and next time we're in NOLA we will opt for a different experience. We enjoyed our stay! Merci Beaucoup

This place is very hollow and loud. It's very close quarters and no sound proofing. You can hear everyone's TV in the hall amd your room, people screaming on the phone, doors slamming, people getting ice on another floor, people outside on the nice patio, water took forever in sink to go down, black blanket they give you was so nasty, looked like snot or semen smeared on it. Hair was everywhere. I say this with the understanding that hair is harder to get up. It was In our bed, everywhere in shower. I know you can't say no children but this is not a place for small kids to run around and talk in hallways bc everything can be hear so clearly. No proofing or weather*****ping under doors so there is a huge gap. Of maybe 1.5 inches under the doors that doesn't help the sound. Cute place, in a sketchy up and coming neighborhood. They have street parking only which was plentiful and said there was security roving through neighborhood. Never saw them but our cars were fine. Good idea for a small neighborhood hostel/hotel. Decor was simple and so cute throughout and it comes with a MW and fridge. The attached coffee and bar was nice.

Room was clean, spacious. Reception was quick but did not inform us that daily housekeeping would NOT be done. The hotel had a pool area but we were not informed that there was a charge for it. We had a lap next to the bed that was not working. An evening maintenance person had to replace the whole fixture, the way it was mounted he was not able to secure the new fixture completely and he said the day maintenance crew would take care of it. Never got done even though we told the front desk about the situation. We had a drawer on the dresser that insisted on opening itself about four inches. The night maintenance man attempted to fix it but was unable to accomplish it, so he said he would leave a note for the day maintenance crew to attend to it. Never happened. Hair dryer had some sticky stuff all over the handle. Many of the retail areas were not open Tuesday and Wednesday. Their weekend. Just happened to be the days we were there. ****** was large enough with plenty of machines. There is an event center but nothing was scheduled. There were no nightly entertainment as in other ******s.

Lobby was almost as hot as it was outside, restaurant/ bar was located in the same area, sweating while eating just doesn’t work for me. Door to the room stuck so bad had to use your shoulder to open it. The phone in the room didn’t work, the snack selection downstairs consisted of cliff bars and some kind of cookie.. woke up early by talking outside my door, when I got out of bed to go use the bathroom after being woke up I walked through wet carpet and a half flooded room from a water leak. The rest of the morning until I left I got to listen to a shop vac run. Checked out and mentioned the flooding I got a head shake then asked if there was a discount for the flooding. He said he couldn’t do anything because I booked through a third party but would have the manager call me. Still waiting on that call…….. I’m a Hilto owner and it’s ashamed I can book a room cheaper through Trip than I can Hilton

This was a stop over as our train stopped for the night in New Orleans and was to leave out in the morning. We arrived very late as our train had been delayed and staff was very helpful in getting us checked in. The room was quite comfortable. It had a refrigerator but no microwave which we would have greatly appreciated. We had to be up early to catch our train and we were unable to have a hot breakfast due to the lack of the microwave. Other than that, everything was fine. Hope to come back when we can stay longer.

My 93 year old husband and I spent two nights at Hotel indigo last week and were very pleased with our experience. The room was nicely appointed in the bathroom was spacious though we did have an accessible room. The bed was very comfortable, especially the pillows! Every place in the hotel was very clean, and nicely appointed. We were most impressed with the Front desk staff who were so helpful, courteous, and kind. We want to do a shout out to Susanne, who couldn't have been nicer, as well as professional. The common interest hotel dining room had good food at reasonable prices. The valet parking was a bit pricey, but very convenient and the attendants were also very helpful. Just around the corner on Carondelet Street we discovered the Gallier oyster bar, which had good food at a reasonable price.
