The equipment is average, there is no electric kettle, and there is no safety deposit box. It feels very medieval. No one came in to clean the room when I stayed in the room. I didn't come to replenish the items, and there was no bottled water. However, the staff at the counter was kind.
The older gentleman working at night is quite rude with his demeanour and gestures saying “good lord” in absolute disgust to us upon arrival. We weren’t the only ones offended by him while talking to other guests. I will definitely return as we loved the daytime staff and atmosphere other then his unfriendly welcome. Customer service is definitely not his high point. We all have bad days so I’ll give this place another chance since everyone and everything was perfect other than that.
The old hotel is estimated to be a very small and comfortable hotel. The lobby, facade and room layout are all light and luxurious, but the bathroom is like forgetting to decorate, it is completely inconsistent with the room style, a bit off the chain.
It was an average stay hotel was clean and Everything was in order and working , My room was clean the bathrooms are a little small but overall clean for the most part and friendly. My daughter love the pool. But that's always the selling point for the kids. And I like to check out is at noon later than the other hotels in the area.
Breakfast is a typical American motel breakfast with sausages, bacon, yoghurt, juice, and coffee. The room was tidy, there was no microwave in the fridge, two beds, only one stool. There are enough parking spaces. Nearby is the Hannaford supermarket.
Embassy Suites by Hilton adjacent to the Portland Maine Jetport provide comfort and convenience. Suite rooms (with two Queen beds) are comfortable but the a/c is quirky and can be hard to set and is noisy. (we turned the bedroom a/c on before going to sleep just leave the a/c in the living room on to cool down, and problem solved.
The breakfast bar was the bomb! I loved the omelet Joe made was excellent, fast, efficient, and delicious.
Rooms are ok , little bit on the older style but decent .
Should get rid of the carpet though

GGuest UserIt's in Bar Harbor, the closest to Acadia National Park, and a short distance from the center of Bar Harbor town. The check-in arrived late, and the hotel was full, but it was more appropriate to arrange another hotel of the same level in the town to stay. Because I actually live in other hotels, I have no experience with this specific facility.
GGuest UserVery clean, accommodating staff. If I could suggest anything, it would be that they would explain when asked about being pet friendly that they don’t allow pets to stay in the room while you’re not there and charge a $250 fine if you leave the room. We were confused because in other hotels that we stayed, we were allowed to leave the dogs. This makes it rather difficult when you arrive at the location and you’re an hour and a half away from your house that you have to now find a dog sitter or a dog daycare while you go out of your hotel room to me it defeats the purpose because I know I would’ve left them with the dog sitter at home either that or they clarify their stance on such issues like “do you have a dog here well as long as he stays quiet, it’s OK“ something to that effect.

JJonathan LiemGood: Affordable relative to other hotels, nice/spacious room, complimentary water and coffee during select times of day, nice lounge with games and pool table to hang out at night, room and lobby were clean upon arrival.
Not so good: Front desk staff had a mix of friendly and not-as-friendly people - the guy at the night shift was not very welcoming when I checked in. The hallway in the 6th floor smelled strongly of carpet shampoo; it was unpleasant to walk through. Bedsheets were a bit rough (low thread count I presume).
GGuest UserBreakfast was great. We had a little maintenance issue with the room but the maintenance staff came right up to resolve our issue. Front desk girl was very professional and courteous. She was on the phone with what sounded like a previous guest who was clearly complaining about something regarding the sales tax and a reservation with the previous private owner prior to Quality Inn taking over. She handled herself very well, calm professional and respectful even though the person on the other end of the line was not reciprocating those same qualities. She got off the phone and helped me with a great smile and very attentive to my questions. Great job!!
KKathleen TrudelThis one has seen better days. A lot of maintenance issues that had gone unreported for a long time. Shower/bathtub would not drain at all. Washbasin was very slow. AC filter was in need of a good cleaning. A side door is supposed to be locked from the inside but stayed open and unsecured all night. This was just as expensive as a really well maintained Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Freeport. Your dog is welcome but it will cost you a 15$ fee. The breakfast was good and had options for a take out box. Location seemed very odd, and seems far from Bangor proper.

CCasey G.We had a fantastic stay and couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities really made the difference. We enjoyed a relaxing soak in the hot tub, and the breakfast was fresh and well-prepared with plenty of options. One of the highlights was the attached restaurant — absolutely amazing food and service! I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
