This hotel is really close to the Javits Center in New York, about a 10-minute walk, which was super convenient for my business trip. There are also convenience stores nearby, making daily life very easy. Of course, the facilities can't compare to hotels in China, as most hotels here are quite old. However, the environment and cleanliness were good, and the room was comfortable. For a week-long stay, they cleaned every two days, and it didn't affect service even if I didn't leave a tip, which was nice as it's not mandatory. Overall, it's quite friendly for Chinese travelers.🤭

Room was fine. It might help to have a couple more outlets though. I had to leave at 4am to return my rental car at the airport and the guy at the front desk had no clue as to directions for me to get to the rental; car return at the airport. He gave me the impression that he could've cared less about helping me. The shuttle driver did help and gave me great directions though. Otherwise, I would've been driving around for a while to figure out the detour and where to go, as I am not familiar with flying out of Buffalo (usually I fly out of Rochester).

Business stay Tru by Hilton excellent experience, convenient location, time and effort saving. The hotel environment is simple and refreshing, the rooms are clean and tidy, washing and office facilities are all available, and the layout is reasonable and not crowded.
The check-in and check-out process is fast and efficient, the service is professional and thoughtful, quiet and not noisy, and the rest and office are suitable. Outstanding cost performance, stable quality, efficient and safe to live here on business trips

Good location - many eateries, restaurants and supermarkets, shopping malls nearby within walking distance. Subway 7 is straight line walking distance.
Breakfast - plain porridge with pickles, bread, pastries, DIY waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruits and also hot and cold beverages. We enjoyed the food.
Service - friendly staff especially the aunty-in-charge of breakfast.
Hotel room - clean and neat. Bed was comfortable with clean bedding. Only eyesore thing is the few broken floor tiles around the centre in the toilet (looked old broken tiles)and not sure why no repair.

The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows felt a bit lumpy. The hotel is conveniently close to the falls. Parking cost $10, but my bank statement showed two $10 charges. When I asked the front desk, they insisted I was only charged once. I brought it up again at checkout, and they said one of the charges would be refunded, so I'm just waiting to see if that happens. There were only a few tissues left in the room, and when I asked the front desk for more, they said they'd make a note of it and someone would bring them up, but they never arrived, even by checkout. Breakfast was below average, and the floor was sticky.

We always have a great stay here. The location is excellent, with easy access to downtown restaurants. The hotel offers a pool and a hot tub, as well as free parking. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with a view. The only disappointing aspects were that Kirkpatrick, a nice bar on the premises, was recently closed, and the free shuttle to nearby areas was not available during our stay.

Now Now NoHo offers a classic capsule experience that will feel very familiar if you have traveled through Tokyo. The pods are undeniably small but efficiently equipped with the essentials, including a comfortable bed, a nice robe, and a soft blanket. It is a good idea to prepare your own slippers for moving between your pod and the shared facilities, as the toilets are located within each wing and in the basement.
Finding affordable accommodation in New York is a challenge, and while the price might seem high compared to other countries, it is a functional find for the city. The lack of an elevator and windows means the space can feel a bit confined if you spend too much time inside, but the surrounding neighborhood is a major highlight. You will find plenty of interesting gentrification nearby, including several cool design shops and cafes to explore.

KKyle TanIt was seamless, from check-in to check-out. I was able to request for late check-out. Upon check-out I left my luggage so I could still roam around. Got my luggage back safe. Breakfast is okay. Not grand. But I was able to eat everything. I normally couldn’t eat breakfast from cheap priced bookings cause it’s normally bad, but here, I was able to make use of it.

JJanaElgThis is your no frills place for a place to lay your head. It was relatively clean, had all the necessary amenities, adequate breakfast, housekeeping. I would definitely stay here again. It gets the job done a peaceful rest without breaking the bank. The room had a slight odor not sure what it was but maybe they should do a deep clean to all the rooms and bathrooms. It could be just the one I was in. The toilet seat wasn’t cleaned that well but I survived.

AAnonymous UserMainly because my flight arrived in New York at midnight, I was really hesitant to take the subway into the city so late. So I took the AirTrain for a bit and stayed at this hotel. It's a new hotel, so all the facilities are quite new. Although Trip.com said breakfast wasn't included, it actually was. However, the surrounding area isn't great, I'd honestly recommend just taking a taxi directly into the city instead.

KKevin_PhI stayed from. 28 Dec 2025 to 1 January 2026. My stay was amazing. I arrived in the airport and called the hotel for a transport pick up. The receptionist is friendly and assisted me immediately. At the check in. They were able to allow me to do an early check-in (11am) (subject to availability).
Breakfast is nice. And they have gym and laundry area. The location of the hotel is convenient. Near a train station and there is also a bus stop 20 meters away from the hotel.
Lastly, check out is fast and easy. I’ll definitely going to book another stay in this hotel if I am in New York.

GGabbyDI am very happy to return to Changdao. The environment on Changdao is comfortable and pleasant. The hotel's environment is quiet, clean and comfortable, and parking is free. The front desk service is also good. The bed is a bit soft, but American beds aren't too hard. The air conditioner in the room is not very easy to adjust and is a little cold.
Disadvantages: The light in the bathroom is connected to the exhaust fan, which makes a lot of noise when it is turned on.
When we drove, it was easy to miss the hotel entrance. Every time we drove to the unknown building next door, we then circled back to the hotel.

The only downside is I was not informed the 2 bottles of water is chargeable at usd3 per btl and I found out only at New York airport when they sent me the reciept via email.

Full review:
The main reason to book this hotel would be for its location. Its location in Tribeca is awesome. A number of destinations, particularly, wall street, the Brooklyn bridge, and the world trade center memorial, are walking distance. The rooms, however, are on the smaller end, and the hotel service is almost non existent. The facilities and amenities were acceptable.
Do note that the front desk is only in available from 9am to 11pm so if you encounter issues outside those times, it will be problematic.
For example, I was emailed the door key and room key a day prior to arriving. I printed the same in cause i had no internet service, as i was travelling from another country. I also emailed them through the email provided that we would be arriving at around 12 midnight. However, upon arriving at the hotel door, it would not work. I and my wife had to stay out, in the cold of new york city, with 5 luggages, for a good 30 minutes. We emailed them and used the online chat function, but both were useless.
We sat down in a nearby dunkin donuts to figure stuff out. and without any held from sonder or marriot, we found out that there was a discrepancy with the codes emailed and the codes in the app. Fortunately, my wife as able to rummage through the discrepancy and was able to acquire the appropriate codes. And thus, we finally able to get into the hotel and into our room.
Considering the price point of the rooms, aside from the location, this is not a good choice.
