I stayed here for 5 nights and I thought it was perfect. It was a last minute deal and it was such a bargain price. Located in Times Square, it’s a perfect hotel if you’re solo or it’s your first time in New York. You’re not far from Times Square, within 30 mins of Central Park and probably an hour walk to Brooklyn bridge (but you can get the subway). The staff were nice, especially the cleaners. The room was small, but I felt safe. There were lots of coffee, it was clean and not too noisy despite the location. I went during the winter and it was warm enough with thin pjs on. The lift was working fine too. I highly recommend.

It was seamless, from check-in to check-out. I was able to request for late check-out. Upon check-out I left my luggage so I could still roam around. Got my luggage back safe. Breakfast is okay. Not grand. But I was able to eat everything. I normally couldn’t eat breakfast from cheap priced bookings cause it’s normally bad, but here, I was able to make use of it.

The location is great. I was happy to have a service where I could drink coffee and tea in the lobby. The front desk was also nice. It was a pity that the shampoo of the amenities in the room was out.

This is your no frills place for a place to lay your head. It was relatively clean, had all the necessary amenities, adequate breakfast, housekeeping. I would definitely stay here again. It gets the job done a peaceful rest without breaking the bank. The room had a slight odor not sure what it was but maybe they should do a deep clean to all the rooms and bathrooms. It could be just the one I was in. The toilet seat wasn’t cleaned that well but I survived.

This hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of Jamaica station, making it accessible even for late-night arrivals. The rooms are spacious, clean, and feature modern amenities, while the breakfast is both hot and satisfying. I also appreciated that the refund was processed promptly on the day of checkout.

I stayed from. 28 Dec 2025 to 1 January 2026. My stay was amazing. I arrived in the airport and called the hotel for a transport pick up. The receptionist is friendly and assisted me immediately. At the check in. They were able to allow me to do an early check-in (11am) (subject to availability). Breakfast is nice. And they have gym and laundry area. The location of the hotel is convenient. Near a train station and there is also a bus stop 20 meters away from the hotel. Lastly, check out is fast and easy. I’ll definitely going to book another stay in this hotel if I am in New York.

I am very happy to return to Changdao. The environment on Changdao is comfortable and pleasant. The hotel's environment is quiet, clean and comfortable, and parking is free. The front desk service is also good. The bed is a bit soft, but American beds aren't too hard. The air conditioner in the room is not very easy to adjust and is a little cold. Disadvantages: The light in the bathroom is connected to the exhaust fan, which makes a lot of noise when it is turned on. When we drove, it was easy to miss the hotel entrance. Every time we drove to the unknown building next door, we then circled back to the hotel.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the beds were genuinely restful. Breakfast was decent — nothing extraordinary, but a solid start to the day. What significantly soured our stay was a complete lack of transparency around their deposit policy. At no point during the booking process were we informed that a $250 security deposit would be required upon check-in. This came as a shock when we arrived at our room and were told we had to hand over $250 upfront. Making matters worse, we were told the refund would take 7–10 business days to process. For travelers on a budget — or simply anyone who doesn't expect $250 to be tied up without prior notice — this is a serious inconvenience. As of writing this review, the refund has still not been returned to us. Hidden fees and undisclosed charges are a dealbreaker. The room quality is good, but hotels have a basic obligation to be upfront about costs. I'd recommend they update their booking process to clearly communicate this policy. Until then, travelers should be prepared to have $250 held without warning.

We stayed at this hotel 8 nights, I can say that the location was really perfect! We book a room for 4 person and was really okay the room for all of us. Can’t complain about the service and attention.

Room was fine. It might help to have a couple more outlets though. I had to leave at 4am to return my rental car at the airport and the guy at the front desk had no clue as to directions for me to get to the rental; car return at the airport. He gave me the impression that he could've cared less about helping me. The shuttle driver did help and gave me great directions though. Otherwise, I would've been driving around for a while to figure out the detour and where to go, as I am not familiar with flying out of Buffalo (usually I fly out of Rochester).
