ly6628Of the watchtowers in Zili Village, I only saw one open to the public; the others were only for exterior viewing. The tower featured in the movie was under renovation. The one in Liyuan Village was better; you could enter three towers. It's actually a large garden with many towers inside, like a private estate. The free shuttle bus to the scenic area is on a fixed schedule, taking about one to one and a half hours. If you're passing by, you can take a look; it's quite representative. However, it's not worth making a special trip for.
