Interesting history
This place has an interesting history, dating back to the time under Christendom. Elements of old Christian architecture interwoven with Islam are very interesting.
It is a nice mosque, allegedly converted from a church. It's in relatively bright stone and has a nice gate in a form of livan with a stalactite decoration.
This beautiful mosque in downtown Adana is one of the landmarks of the city. Built as a church, it is now used as a mosque. There is a special section for women. The patio is really beautiful. Headcov...

Yağ Camii
Previously church and monastery school, then mosque. History, culture and architecture together. Worth visiting.
One of the most beautiful mosques I have visited in Turkey
This was original built as a Crusader church, and the Christocentric layout is still visible inside. The sand pillars are truly marvellous.
