Old Shenzi Lushan Office
Original Text
Western-style building at the site of the Kamikobata Mining Station. It was an old mining office and is now a museum exhibition hall. It's like a foreign house in Yamate, Nagasaki, but it seems unclear whether a foreign engineer named Moose lived there.
It was a Western building located in a mineral selection center in the mountains, and it was closed in February 2020 because it was like a corona. You should make an inquiry before going. It's worth seeing a trolley behind this or a chicner at the mineral selection site.
Beautiful western style building. There is also a chrysanthemum crest on the tiles.

It is a Western-style building built quite early in the Meiji period, and the balcony is beautiful, but the roof is tiled and you can see the chrysanthemum crest. It seems that the mine was owned by the imperial family for a while. Inside, it was a small but interesting exhibition, such as the relics of 々 like those of that time and the diorama of Kamikobata. There were also sales of goods such as clear files and T shirts.
The residence of a mining engineer, a mining office, and now closed, is used as a museum. A beautiful Western-style building contrasts in front of the huge ruins of the Kamikobata mine.

I checked the opening day and Moses' former residence
There are many days that are closed except during the on-season. Let's check the opening date. Photos and dioramas were exhibited in the room.
