Excellent tower
3 Euros gets you the chance to walk to the top of this medieval tower. Restored after it burnt in 1984. Wonderful views at top. No lift. You have to go up many stairs.
Must do when you stop by in Bad Wimpfen
Best view of the lovely town - the ideal way to start discovering the wonderful city gem. We will be back.

The top section was rebuilt following a lighting strike and fire in 1984. The support structure and more fire protection you see is a result. The whole history of the tower is explained on the display...

At the moment the tower is surrounded by metal structures to hold the tower together before repair, but you can still go to the top. The lady caretaker actually lives in the top of the tower!! Great v...
