We didn’t know how amazing this place would be until we arrived at Balaam Beach (the pause point for our bike tour). Felt a bit “out of life” and very special. The beach is volcanic black sandy beach, at least 2 km long. We really enjoyed walking 2 hours before each sunset and generally not seeing anyone else. There are a few restaurants we enjoyed going to - but not listed on TripAdvisor. We loved this special place - a stunning beach for watching the sunset - good restaurant selection - the atmosphere of the small village - very laid back and quiet - the variety of daily yoga classes held at the hotel opposite the sushi restaurant was great

The beach view is good, but this is a black beach, there is a smelly river next to it, destroying the scenery, there are not many tourists, it is very romantic to walk with the lover in the evening.
Most of the cultivation is tea, a green place, it looks very comfortable. Many coffee varieties are also here, and they can smell special.
