Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

Fast forward 10yrs monkey forest Ubud is more accessible and safe for all traveler.Bringing your own fruits and food is now banned to prevent fights and jealously between the monkeys. There are many staffs on the path to check on the customers and of course the main attractions wild monkeys. The park is wild and very big, so if you have small kids must bring waters and Strollers as it can get hot here during the mid days. They do have a small cafe in the middle of the park with Ac room but can be full. overall was a fun experience and intense .

It's not really a forest per se, more like a tropical park with a temple within and monkeys roaming around.The temple is small but interesting whereas one needs to be careful with the monkeys as they can be quite aggressive.The whole trip takes about an hour and is a bit pricey by Indonesian standards.

I thought it was not big, and I could walk around for more than an hour. There are quite a lot of monkeys and quite well-behaved. The keepers gave them sweet potatoes and corn. Can't feed, the leftover bread they snatched in the morning, scared. Children like to see animals.

Very good experience, children like it, the place is very big and not finished, don't wear things that are easy to be robbed
