Parc de la Ciutadella

A park located next to the Arc de Triomphe, a place where weekends are prettier than weekdays! You can enjoy busking and large soap drops ㅎㅎ Dogs often come out for a walk, but sometimes there are dogs with loose necks.

This park is a beautiful park and we passed by and enjoyed it on our way to the absolutely stunning Arc de Triomphe. It is a peaceful park, the gardens are well maintained, there is a beautiful fountain and countless elaborate statues, a great place to stroll in the afternoon sun, there is a zoo and a museum in the park, but we never visited them, But we intend to go to these two attractions on our next holiday to Barcelona on September 20. A beautiful park in a great location if you are in the area worth checking in.

Beautiful space to spend an afternoon enjoying the nature. You can also rent a boat and sail on a small lake.

The castle park is located at the junction of the coastal area and Little Barcelona, named after the ancient castle in the park. It was built by Felipe V in 1714 and destroyed in 1869, leaving only an altar and an arsenal. The Baroque arsenal is now the Catalan Parliament Hall, and was used as the venue for the World's Fair in 1888. During the Expo, many new landscapes such as the Arc de Triomphe, gardens, fountains and small lakes were built nearby. The most famous are Mondanere’s design of the Three Dragons Castle (now the Animal Museum), the flower house of Amagus (now the Cultural Center) and the awning of Fonsere, which Gaudi, as Fonsere’s assistant, was involved in the design of the monument’s details. In the corner of the park, there are several famous sculptures at the Barcelona Zoo, such as Soray's "The Lady of the Umbrella" and Imone's "Sad."
