Penang Second Bridge

2020 New Year's Travel First bullet ～ Penang, Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur rented a car and drove over. When I was about to arrive in Penang, there was a total of sea-crossing bridges to enter and exit. I chose the long sea-crossing bridge. There were a lot of cars. The bridge was really a bit long. It took 10 minutes to open. The scenery was OK. It should be quite good to come and watch the sunset at night.

桥身全长24公里，是东南亚最长的海上大桥，从马来西亚半岛 Batu Kawan 衔接至槟城的 Batu Maung，刚落成不久，还很新。设计与旧槟城大桥大同小异，但细节上更美观。如果是自驾游又有多余的时间的话（千万别用出租车，来回48公里的路费可不是盖的），不妨驾到这条桥上走一走，行驶在桥上能欣赏一望无边的大海，及感受那看不到桥的另一头的感觉。建议白天，日出或傍晚时分参观，晚上基本上是黑黑一大片什么都看不到。基本上这条桥很少人在用，所以桥上的车很少，很好驾驶，曾经有一架蓝宝坚尼在闭路电视上被发现用5分钟跑完整条桥。建议到了对岸可以在槟城人的海鲜胜地 - 淡汶（Tambun）吃顿海鲜再回来，这里的海鲜都是刚从河边及海上抓来的，新鲜又便宜。来回的过路费（收费站位于半岛）是8马币左右。

This time I went to Penang Island to pass the second bridge. This just built sea-crossing bridge is very spectacular. I drove along the bridge and felt the charming scenery. There are seas on both sides, blue sky and white clouds, and I am very happy to go to Penang Island.
