Tanzhe Temple(Tantuo Temple)

Tanzhe Temple in Mentougou District, Beijing, was built more than 1,700 years ago. There is a saying “Tanzhe Temple came before Beijing city was built". This temple has been valued highly by the Royal families. The temple is surrounded by mountains, with many lush old trees and beautiful scenery. Behind the Daxiong Hall in the temple, there is a thousand years old ginkgo tree. A two-color magnolia tree rarely seen in Beijing is next to the old ginkgo tree. The stone fish on the northwest side of the temple is also a must-see attraction for tourists. Many tourists like touching the stone fish.
