Berlin City Hall, also known as the Red City Hall, is named after the red walls. The City Hall is located on the Rathausstrasse near Alexanderplatz in the Mitte district and is the official residence of the current mayor of Berlin. Some rooms on the third floor are mainly used for conferences, and the corridors also display portraits of all honorary citizens of Berlin. However, only rooms on some floors are currently on display. In addition to the daily office, the City Hall will often receive some foreign guests or hold some large-scale events. In addition, due to its long history, some construction projects are often carried out here. Therefore, the City Hall may be temporarily closed at this time.
