Xuyun Temple is located halfway up the Jizu Mountain. It is said that since Jiaye entered the Dingjizu Mountain, there are Zen monks who have knotted the Mao here. In the forty-two years of Ming Jiajing, the monks and Confucian Buddhists built the temple here. In the 17th year of Wanli, Queen Cixi admired the pure teaching style of the temple, gave a "Da Tibetan Sutra", and the abbot Ben'an Zen Master Ziyi. Since then, the temple has become one of the five major jungles in the 108 temple of Jizu Mountain.

The mountain gate of Xuyun Temple is great. There are volunteers in the temple and you can apply for volunteer work for at least 3 months. There is a Zen seat in the Xuyun Museum, but no one is meditating. I went around 11 am, except for a few volunteers who were busy, and I didn't see a family member on the big day of the 15th of the first month.
