The Birmingham Botanical Gardens

The Birmingham Botanic Gardens, a Victorian garden, opened to the public in June 1832. The Tropical Greenhouse of the Botanical Garden was built in 1852 and houses the well-known tropical water lilies. There are now more than 7,000 plants in the botanical garden. The park also houses a rock garden, azalea garden, Japanese garden, wildflower area, tropical greenhouse, etc. In addition, it also provides a variety of horticultural education to the community.
